It really has gotten to a point! Like officially, what is going on?

When she looks like she's going to drop or do something, nothing happens. We don't even get the yearly single anymore.

I think the only way she can truly fix all of this is to come out and expose what is going on in a book or a youtube documentary and drop a EP/album with that. People will be sympathetic and start hyping her up but she needs to be honest with everything.

Some people said she may independent and that her interactions with Kehlani could be her signaling for a collab later this summer.

As for the label situation, I'm leaning more towards her being under the Jive Records and them waiting for a grand reveal like speculated. However, why would RCA move her to a subsidiary that wasn't fully staffed?

I feel sorry her career ended up like this but we need to let her figure her self out. I will give her an obligatory stream of her new music. I however, won't be engaging in her other stuff because she's too inconsistent.

Well, she's not on RCA website anymore, so she is probably not signed anywhere. Or she decided to go independent. Gotta get these brand deals/ sponsorship to secure money

why does everybody keep thinking she was move to Jive records? considering she was removed from RCA website, it is obvious she is not a part of Jive. They would have her still listed just like SZA and Flo Milli are listed. SZA label is TDE. Flo is 94 sounds which is just like Jive and operates under RCA. JIVE will be under RCA, so it makes no sense to remove her from the website if she is still with RCA. Normani was signed to Keep Cool which was like TDE that had a joint venture with RCA. I'm sorry, but she is not with Jive.

I keep checking back periodically for news here and…nada. That is INSANE. She was just on the finale of an extremely popular show and did nothing to capitalize off of it?

Those artist you named are actually signed with RCA though. If Normani was moved to Jive then the imprint would be different. It's still under Sony and will be foreseen by RCA management but it's still a different label altogether.

and thats why we think she's at jive. they prob did take her off RCA's site because jive is a whole diff label lol. it's overseen by RCA which i can definitely see them moving normani over there but still overseeing things.

there were tea pages and etc saying normani was dropping music in april/may and i didn't forget that. she was recording music a few weeks ago so i can't think or believe nothing is going on.

jive is a whole different label so yes if shes getting signed there.. or signed there they'd take her off the website lol. jive isn't an imprint.

Yeah, this is all bad.

Every so often, I get kinda "what else can we do but wait" when it comes to her, but that moving truck post was oh-so-confirming that things are awry behind the scenes (not that we didn't know already, but the depths).

Unless she literally has stocks in the company, it was very low vibational even by basic influencer standards.

She almost never posts, and when she does, it's for a...moving company? A mess.

As for the label chatter, all the outcomes are on the table:

Still Duking It Out With RCA? Possible. Her contracts, from the outside looking in, easily present as being a tangled mess, so detanging (even if agreeing to go separate ways can be a whole process).

Signed to Jive? Also possible. Lateral moves happen in labels more than most might think, and would absolutely be the easiest way of her getting off RCA if she still owes them something. Still being under the Sony umbrella probably makes free / contract impacting movements much easier if doing so under the same label group that if trying to venture elsewhere.

Shopping a Deal? Possible! I don't see Mani going indie (it would TKO whatever vision she's had for herself and the scale of output we've come to love and stan from her). But similarly, we're almost a decade removed from 5H and I can't imagine any of the girls have the heat to command amazing deals from a major.

Best case scenario would be to start her own label and get distribution from a major. That way, she has the ready-made "taking control of my career" narrative to spin, while quietly being ok with getting a much more bare-bones deal that is effectively label services (radio, streaming, playlisting, strategic collabs etc).

But she definitely needs some motion. Promising fans an amazing year only for it to be Shein and moving company ads (so far) is wilder than the wild her narrative has been so far.

Maybe we misread it.

Kehlani allegedly is going on a proper album tour this summer (she's doing shows rn but it's not tied to a tour).

Normani might be dropping then going on tour with the new music. Kehlani might be on Normani's project and we completely misread that OR Kehlani is dropping a track just for the tour with her, Normani, and Coi Leray on it.

We gotta wait longer but things are def moving if Coi Leray is involved now in whatever it is and Normani is following endless new producers/engineers/music creating people. It's getting bigger!

EDIT: I just saw on Kehlani's burner insta, she posted that she got her tour openers.

THANK GOD if Normani is on this tour. Get her (and Dopamine) in front of the right audience! An audience that actually streams r&b already too.
