if Normani had made the final 3 she would have gotten another song and based on the list that leaked before the finale it would have been Impossible by Shontelle . that was the song 5H covered on the X Factor and they performed it when Normani was on Dancing With The Stars.

Guys she is not at a new label she's still with RCA and I don't know who put that out there that she left. She doesn't have music coming out anytime soon …she's in the studio but knowing how that label is not prioritizing her I don't know what the timeline is. But I wouldn't expect new music this year. Maybe she might jump on a collaboration. But nothing was set up to roll out with the mask singer.

Not that I believe you're a reliable source at all. Do you know that RCA removed her from their website? What would be their motivation for doing that if she is still an active artist on their roster?

Remember she was never officially under RCA specifically …she got moved when that other record label closed down. All I know is even though she's not on the website nothing is official. There would be a label announcement if she's already recording because that would be under the labels budget. So if they are paying for studio than it be a done signed deal.

My theory is she is independent and that's why she's recording.

Hi so Normani was signed to RCA. They absorbed her Keep Cool contract. Idk why y'all are rewriting history but let me explain (what I've explained 400 times in here).

If you are signed to a subsidiary of a major label, and that subsidiary shuts down, you either end up DROPPED (see Van Jess hihi) or you get taken in by the parent label.

Normani had releases under the MAIN RCA LABEL already. She was signed to them. If she's not signed now, that's a separate topic, but she did 100% exist under MAIN RCA at some point after Keep Cool was shut down.

All people have to do is go on Apple music or Spotify and at the bottom of the page of the song or album you're playing, it shows you which label released it. Dopamine the album says just RCA and everything else says Keep Cool/RCA. That user is a camila stan that trolls in every few months or so but I don't know why they think we don't know our own faves label situation

I'm confused what y'all are talking about? ..she was under keep cool…distributed by RCA she wasn't on the main label directly……Keep cool got shut down and she moved over to RCA. I'm the one who said she STILL at RCA even though she isn't on the website. Where did I say she isn't at RCA ??

I think you are missing the point. Many of us believe she's under a new label because the label removed her from their roster. Also she's following CEO and labels heads outside of RCA. My theory is she may be released from her contract and is most likely shopping around her new music in hopes of getting signed elsewhere.

I'm pretty sure she's been in meetings and is biding time before she jumps into another contract. I think it's plausible that RCA moved her to Jive Records as well hence, why she technically doesn't need to announce anything right now. As it is an imprint of RCA.

Let's put in perspective when Camila was in fear of being dropped from Epic she had Selena help her get a deal with Interscope.

During that period she was still on Epic's roster until the release of C, XOXO.

Not that I believe everything I read but this leaker account has been right on multiple occasions.

Let's hope it's a single that we help promote so that the label(s) see(s) that she still has support.
