The whole performance was like prime Janet inspired. She was def on the mood board and I'm here for it.

Normani's team needs to keep going don't stop. If she's performing like this and has such a strong clear aesthetic, a comeback will be easy tbh!

I just saw a performance set that a certain former Normani choreographer did for an artist and yeah Normani is in GREAT hands with Draico.

Normani's set by Draico was much more fluid & creative. Also all FRESH movements. It's a bonus Draico LOVES hanging with Normani, Jordan Chiles, and Lydia too, I see a good partnership forming.

Can't wait for tomorrow's performance!

Nnn yeah, I just prefer Draico for live performances compared to previous choreographers. SB is at least much better than what Parris Goebel choreographed for that Spotify performance two years ago lol. Probably her worst choreo and creative direction for a live performance since she went solo 8 years ago.

It's weird cause Draico fixed A LOT of what Parris laid down. It's so good now, I think Parris just got overwhelmed doing so many new songs at once rather than one strong piece, she gave multiple just ok pieces.

I watched candy paint side by side and wow, Draico made so many necessary changes and cleaned it up. I can see why Normani is happier on stage this performance.

I think dopamine finally has proper on stage representation + her older songs fit the set so much more neatly. She can take this set list to any festival easily.

Like the transitions are SMOOTH too which nobody is talking about.

do y'all remember that big boy dance break that parris choreographed chile?… 💀 and i love some of her choreo (she ate the choreo for grip tho, i'm happy most of it stayed the same for the fifa performance).

The fact they kept grip tells me they truly went 1 by 1 and fixed the songs.

Normani chewed! She sung a lot of this live, you could hear the isolated vocals. SMACK CAM to those saying she lipped FIFA, there was a a lot of various vocal differences between the two performances.

Also, she cut some of the raunchy pieces of choreography out which is funny cause the crowd went up the most for Wild Side.

Last thing, I loved the heavy crowd interaction moments and jokes she was cracking on stage. She's so confident now. This is the time for that second album for real.

it was a good performance though the same setlist . i would have liked a new song . hope Normani has more upcoming shows where she can debut a new song . i would like to see her present at least at the BET Awards.

I do wonder when we'll get new music. We know she's been seriously recording at least sporadically for a year but is apparently still unsigned as far as we know…
