Normani has a whole album out, she can be booked for festivals. Her team is ridiculous. March half over and we still know nothing.

I will just assume she's on someone's tour as an opener (who hasn't announced yet). And maybe she has Essence Festival or BET Awards but that's it. I don't think she has much more promo than that sorted out.

Festival season is almost here and she's booked for none of it (as usual). I just thought with a whole album out maybe they (Lydia) would attempt to get her booked.

Also, Kehlani's album comes out April 24th so if Normani is on it, we won't know for another full month basically.

it literally makes no sense at all why she wouldn't be able to book these festivals. osheaga? essence fest? broccoli festival? global citizen? she hasn't performed at a festival since 2019, and she has so much more great music out! maybe this is what the normani update admins were alluding to a few days ago. maybe the opps (paid moles) and corporate giants are trying to stop the queen.

This is the only smart potential excuse for not making any noise rn and I said this A WHILE BACK too in this thread.

Normani wins Masked Singer then they'll just do non-stop announcements, use the winner hype to book all her interviews, then tease the new music/get an era going.

It's good all the big artists dropped except maybe Beyonce. Normani will have a nice lil space to drop stuff around may/june. March hasn't even had any major pop/r&b hit song which is surprising.

Based on the producers she's working with…it's Dopamine 2.0. Why are we not getting something fresh, fun, and light? All the leaks that said she was going more pop sounding are liars.

If she's going to compete in R&B only again, it better be Lights On, Insomnia, All Yours, Big Boi type songs WITH VIDEOS back to back and nothing generic.

the snippet is a lil more pop ballad-y (i think the snippet is ai). i think she has the potential to take this industry by storm, she just hasn't been given a fair chance (and honestly because we haven't seen the visuals imo).

I love the snippet. Her voice can do magical things on mid/slow tempos that a Candy Paint, Big Boy, or Motivation just can't showcase. We need at least a couple slow tracks on the album

Someone on twitter/x posted they randomly seen a poster of her in LA the picture of it is on twitter/X and the folded Producer she was in the studio recently post a let's gif that basically hitting at the music being fire under R&Blounge post on instagram about people wanting new music from her yesterday

Masked Singer is def a part of the "rollout". The finale airs April 1, 2026 aka next week.
