Normani was def singing live at many points. Like Wild Side she def was, she literally was moving the mic away and it would be dead space during parts she's supposed to be singing. Like there's no greater proof than that.

Then, she had sound issues towards the end with Love Lies and Dancing with a Stranger so you could see she wasn't even trying to sing a lot of those and even went into the crowd to get through the songs.

Nobody who is lip syncing is taking all that effort to strategically stage all of those issues just to lip ON TOP of that. They would just lip and get it over with.

Precisely this! Her charisma is unmatched, like none of these new girlies are like her. If she's in front of more people live this year it can honestly revive things again career wise.

Honestly, "flawless" lip sync or not, that short set was head and shoulders above so many newish acts live performances right now. Nitpicking is way too common with black female artists and we need to let it go as a pop culture loving collective atp.

you know what i noticed? people see normani's skill and know exactly what she can contribute to music but they keep pushing this "she doesnt want it" narrative or "well she lipsynced" because they're very intimidated. that's why i want normani to pick up the ball this year and really RUN. whenever she picks her foot up — she goes viral.

Here's the thing if we aren't honest about what it is your setting her up. And there's nothing wrong with lip syncing. Janet did it ALL the time and everyone knew and no one cared. And Janet is HUGE. I say put a headset on and just dance. But if she doesn't want to fine…just make your pre records sound live…take some of the effects off the vocals…allow more breathe. It doesn't have to sound perfect. Im truly saying this to be helpful

All Yours is a banger. I lowkey think she was trying to take control of her image. Maybe the big co-signs so early on her career wasn't as comfortable as it looks.

This is the one thing Normani can rely on. She's in the Victoria Monet, before on my mama kind of space. A great performing artist already, but just needs that one song that carries them into this new tiktok era.

If Motivation came out now with the same level of viralness, no record label would have ever let Normani fade off. It would have been a non-stop career ride from there.

I think Normani just needs that one hit then things will move like crazy.
