TBH. I don't think we ever heard the real finished product because the track we heard and the track in the Bose commercial sound different. Plus she has an Eve sample on the hook and I don't think we've heard it on the whole song. I personally think 1:59, CP, and the SZA collab will be the actual singles. 

 

Also, I'm pretty sure Lydia was the one who contacted Latrice to do the TT in the first place.

I have faith in this team this time around. It's clear they reached out to latrice for candy paint which was extremely smart. People from RCA and her management seem to really be betting on mani and the timing couldn't be more perfect since this is her debut. I don't want to play the guessing game in terms of what her team is doing, I'm just paying attention to their actions and so far I'm liking what I am noticing. I feel like this debut can be successful as hell. They just have to promote her properly and make sure everyone is consistent . Normani's talent speaks for itself.

I think it's worth testing out the waters on CP as a single (I personally think it's more commercial sounding and radio friendly than what we've heard of Big Boy so far), but also, people need to not set their expectations too high over 100 TikTok videos a day  Truly viral TikTok songs have hundreds of thousands of total videos. Wild Side sounds at their peak were gaining tens of thousands a day and even that wasn't enough for it to go truly viral to the point of getting a huge streaming bump. 

I know as of right now we're not seeing a big push for 1:59 but idk if it's just me but the snippet is really growing on me. I can't even imagine what the music video will look like but if it's anything like Wild Side we're really in for a treat.

I have this feeling we will not get a MV with a high budget production like WS this era, unless she gets a smash.

We will see because this is a girl who's unpredictable. I don't think we have a clue what she has under her sleeves. I just hope the gunna feature is a highlight of the song and he actually adds something to it. I'm curious about who may have choreographed for this video and who shot the music video as well.

Candy will  have its moment. Be calm girlies
