On another note, it's been so fun to follow people latching onto Candy Paint on TikToks. I came across these girls commenting that they were addicted to the song but had no idea what it was called. Someone answered that it was Candy Paint but they couldn't find anywhere!! Lmao  It WILL be a hit too. 

This new snippet is definitely a grower. On one hand I love how pretty she sounds but then when gunna starts singing it sounds a bit off and I think the contrast between both of their voices will have to grow on me. In a perfect world Wild Side would have came out this year and Candy Paint would be the next single. I really hope the song ends up growing on me like I thought it would.

I can't wait because I feel like we're finally. FINALLY. Getting started. Normani performing and promoting throughout the year manifesting!!

That first snippet is most likely the chorus. 
This second snippet is most likely the pre-chorus.

I'm not sure how I feel about gunna singing on this. It feels a bit….. Out of place but the with this new snippet the song is growing on me. Still feel  like CP would've been the better single to lead with, especially with it lowkey growing on TikTok but in this new team we trust 

I know why Gunna was chosen but I just know Lucky daye or Ty dolla would have sounded amazing with her on this song

Oh I know. I listen to rap music regularly and I already posted that I love the way he sounds but I think there are other people who would sound just as good or better. 

 

I am super curious about the direction of the music video. I wonder if Gunna is going to be it.
