I love how after years of disappointments and lies some fans still get angry at someone questioning this girl's career choices

 

and please stop pushing this "you want her to do generic pop ****" narrative because it's tiring. Some of us just wanted an uptempo after two back to back midtempos and years of NOTHING.

 

announcing an album with no release date and then disappearing the following week with no single in sight is another DUMB choice. literally no one does that. you all can get mad at us for telling the truth but that won't change the reality.

 

Yeah I’m kind of agreeing with all of this sadly like … of course if she was gonna announce anything for sure announce the album but. Where’s the single? Surely they have a plan and concrete dates because if this is still pending a green light from RCA then I’d rather her just keep the announcements until she knows for sure. Hoping none of this is the case and they’re just warming us up with an album releasing regardless of single performance 

I want to give my opinion, but I don’t wanna get dragged…

I honestly don’t know at this point because I do kinda agree on them messing up by not releasing a single immediately after the album cover/snippet. 

What was the point of the cover reveal with nothing else???  I feel like someone is sabotaging her

It’s even more funny when you realize this is the typical Normani rollout. She teases, goes silent, her fans start arguing then right when people claim they’re unstanning, the rollout continues.

Love the interactions with fans. Idk yall I think the problem is people projecting and playing A&R as previously stated lol. I think she’ll be fine and if we are getting a different song with the song that’s being teased I think they have to start teasing the second single as well before anything is released. So let’s hope they begin the process of giving us both.

i just think everybody wants EVERYTHING ASAP which is understandable but normani has a great team behind her now and i genuinely think everything is going to be fine and they’re rolling things out how they’re supposed to.

It wouldn’t be a single rollout without some of the girl telling everyone to be grateful for crumbs … we really hea nation 

 

I feel for Nation waiting forever for content.  But I am sure RCA knows what they are doing and are determined to make money.  If they feel its best to hold onto the album longer, then so be it.

On the upside, I feel it that we are so close to receiving new music.


A thought about music in general, if anyone cares:

Artists release new music constantly but IMO it's all trash and I'll forget about it immediately. I dont think the industry cares about craftsmanship or artistry, just generic stuff for a quick buck. Normani's music, specifically Wild Side, is so well crafted that I know I'll be listening to it the rest of my life. It is TRUE art. I am hoping there is more well crafted stuff on the album. In a past post, I believe WheresJay said Normani's been working on "timeless" stuff, so I can't wait!

anybody heard that leaked snippet? sounds uptempo

fingers crossed for Monday! I hope they have promo ready... I think an uptempo would be better as the lead (people aren't excited for the r&b snippet being teased) with a motivation type video (dancing etc.)

Can someone confirm if this is the song with a collab?

If we really getting a double single release I'd love for her team to start teasing the second single today and then dropping both of them the next Friday that'd be smart !
