omg wow experiencing that many mariah eras, such a privilege. im 27 so it was my first mariah era that i spent with full consciousness of pop culture awareness and following everything closely. i first heard chanteuse on the itunes radio one week before release, i remember money was missing and it had the throwback vintage remix of triumphant in its place temporarily. and i think there was one more song missing but i cant remember. your song ranking per play is stunning! im glad you love this album. its her most vulnerable and personal one and she experimented with so many sounds its just my favorite always

butterfly is the first album she truly had control over. her first album post divorce from tommy. her personal favorite. a delicious rnb masterpiece. i wish i could hear it for the first time again. enjoy!
