I'm up for her attending if she's gonna perform there, otherwise she can keep paying them dust. VMAs still somehow manage to book interesting performances, but they're nothing more than that: a cute televised concert. Katy winning any award - especially that one - and Taylor winning Song of the Summer are great examples of their fraudulent/meaningless a*s.

 

Taylor being so big is able to make her attendance at the VMA's fun for her fans. It's probable she's gonna win whatever she's nominated for in a fan-voted award show as long as she attends. It's nice fan service between her and them.

Sabrina and Chappell are still "up and coming" artists of the year to promote their brands while Taylor is just collecting new trophies without moving a finger

As fraudulent as it can be, it's still the "official record". It's not much of a difference (4 days) anyway for the moment as it's very early, and it would be even more impressive to beat bots again

Sabrina and Chappell are newcomers...they dont know if by next year they will become irreelevant or have q succesful career, they have to take everything.

They are doing a 50 years special + they will happen normally in May 2025...perfect to promote the LG7 tour and its last single
