If it's announced and close to release, I'd definitely wait! I just LOVE the whole experience of the release day

~70 MC and ~$900M box office, potential for $1B+ depending on reviews. If it ends up doing better critically than the first with buzz from Gaga, it has some upside.

Just looked it up, had no idea the first Joker got a 59 on Metacritic and a 69 on Rotten Tomatoes.  (Though user/audience scores were high)

 

There is much more goodwill for the sequel this time around so I'm going to say:

 

Metacritic: 70+
RT: Fresh at 75-80

Box Office: $1 billion+
 

I'm gonna be bold and become a $1 billion+ truther. I became convinced after seeing the public's insane reaction to DWAS. Godga is gonna pull this film over the billion dollar finish line.

 

 

 

It's hard to say much about how it'll perform without the initial Venice reactions. The buzz (or backlash) can have a pretty big impact.
