If it makes them feel better than ofcourse they should, it doesn't change their sex though, they have just changed to conform to a societies standards. Even going as far as having SRS, which i think is crazy and barbaric, and we should have never let anyone get to a point where they feel that is what they need to do

I am not saying it will become extinct. If that is the best treatment for them then they should do it, but i am saying it does not change reality. Even if someone is born male and they transition to what society says is a female, they will still be male, they have just changed their appearance to what society says is a female.

Ofcourse, just because something is possible doesn't mean we should do it, science is capable of a lot things. They were celebrated for what they are, unlike our society that looks down on males or females who do not fit into the imaginary boxes

Maybe in our current society, but throughout society people did not feel the need to transition because they felt more feminine or masculine energies, there are many cultures and tribes in history where it was just accepted without the need to over complicate it.

I don't see the point you are trying to make. I will fully accept them as i would any other human, but i can't ignore reality to live in a fantasy world where science is thrown out of the window

I am speaking with what i deem to be correct and rational. You say it has nothing to do with societal norms but you are the one who said they need to match their gender, which is all about society. As for the 3 year old knowing they were trans, in my understanding that just means they don't fit into the gender roles assigned to their sex, there is nothing wrong with that and they shouldn't need to "transition" to anything, let them live their life without forcing them into the female box

Yes my point is that they experience body/gender dysmorphia because society has taught us that their specific gender can only fit into a box, and the way they feel inside does not fit into that box. We don't solve this by ignoring science, we solve it by getting rid of the imaginary box society has made.

You can't switch your sex, no matter what a person does, their sex will always remain the same, so that is the first point. You can't alter a persons dna to change their chromosomes, it is not something that can be changed. Secondly you say "gender they are internally", gender is a funny thing because it is made up by society, based on social and cultural differences rather than biological ones. The gender they feel internally as you claim, is what they are forced to believe by what society deems acceptable for a male and female, you are proving my point. They are changing themsleves because society deems it unacceptable for a male to live out his gender in this way, so that must mean they are to switch into the box that society deems acceptable for that gender, which is female. These boxes should not exist and both sexes should be able to live their lives anywhere on a gender spectrum. What is your definition of woman? For me a woman is an adult female, none of the gender roles that society has placed on that word is something i partake in, it is linked to biology.

See this is why i don't like talking about it, because people throw out phrases like ignorant and transphobic to try and shut down discussion. Why don't you educate me then? Why do trans people transition?

This video doesn't really disprove anything i said though. The athelete in question is intersex, it is a completely different topic to transgender. What do you think these studies prove? How do they go against what i have said? Unless you are intersex, you are either male or female, and it is impossible to change from one to the other, it is who we are on a dna level, nothing about these studies goes against that

genetic markers for what? how "feminine" or "masculine" a baby might be when they grow up? When the baby is born it is either a male or a female. Stop buying into the boxes society gives the sexes, let them both be as feminine and masculine as they can be without traumatizing people into feeling the need to mutilate themselves to fit into a box society finds more accepting.
