Lady Gaga

This is part 1 of the Lady Gaga discussion.

Featured Replies

If the rumours are true Billie pushed back to April then March 15th is clear for now, but I'm not allowing myself to get into this cycle again, lmao.

Also re some comments last page, the length of writing an album depends of course, Ariana didn't start work on eternal sunshine until last year when Wicked filming stopped because of the strike and it's out on Friday. But we have Gaga who's likely been working on this record for around 2 years so far with no release date in sight. It just depends, but sometimes I think the more you work on a project the more you can oversaturate it, but hopefully that isn't the case. But I feel like she wasn't even working on Chromatica for this long. That pregnant tweet was the first thing she teased of Chromatica and I think the album came around a year after that.

"At the event in Malibu, CLINUVEL announced the Photomedicine Foundation, which will count Mr Polansky as a trustee. Through the Foundation, CLINUVEL is taking its world-leading expertise directly to communities who cannot afford care or treatment. The foundation’s mission is to support vulnerable patients at extreme risk of photodamage and skin cancer in Africa, Middle East and Latin America." - Yahoo Finance

Billie’s single is apparently on 3/15 (and she’s Interscope.)

Damn I forgot about Billie. So 3/22 then. :snowball: Don't see it being 3/8 just cause the new blushes come out then and they're actually praised amongst the make up community.

Rumors Billie release got pushed? Lmao 'Interscope' and 'delayed' are synonyms at this point.

Her and BloodPop started working on what would eventually become Chromatica in November 2017 (he first showed her a version of the SL instrumental on the KC stop of the Joanne Tour which would’ve been on November 5th, 2017). But some of those writing sessions were apparently for ASIB (which nothing from these sessions made the cut on).

Chromatica took over 2 years (late 2017-February 2020, released May 2020)

Joanne (2015-2016, released in October 2016)

Artpop (2011?-2013, released in November 2013)

So going by her last 3 solo albums, she usually takes an average of 2ish years to complete one. So her working on LG7 since summer 2023 or as far back as 2022 doesn’t tell us much about the release date imo, because she’s usually spent that amount of time working on her solo albums in the past.

Now if she only started working on LG7 last summer and had it basically ready to go now (or soon) then that would be her fastest album creation process time since TFM. So I think she either started working on it before that or isn’t quite finished yet.

So I got tones of shades and drags last week, being called cupcake and ass kisser for not participating at the collective senseless mass hysterya in here with bashing this woman, just for that event at the end being an actual charity operation for helping people with skin health issues and cancer.

The way certain people look even more dumber and moronic than before, sorry but I had to remove this pebble from my shoe after last week.

Joanne doesn't count cause they scrapped an album. Joanne was released 10 months after she started making it

ARTPOP was pushed back due to her hip breaking

Born This Way took less than 2 years.

TFM took 1 year

Gaga's average IS more like a year and a half

And the one dragging her because she was acting and looking like a tech company boss and not a drag queen anymore :snowman:

Joanne was even less, Her sessions with Mark started in March / April and the deadline was September. Mother made a whole ass album in 6 months while going through her devout catholic era and filming AHS Roanoke.

She scrapped an album before Joanne? I don't think I knew this.

The new season of Fortnite kicks off on Friday, so if she releases the new single before 4/22, she’d get a lot of exposure by adding it to their item shop and premiering the video there.

Massive ARIA certification update. Yup, she's coming.

 RIAA next please @Interflop!

Interscope leaving 3/15 clear for Billie was always kind of silly, she's a hot pick to win the Oscar on Sunday and if that becomes the case WWIMF? will more than likely have a chart resurgence and it's better to let that happen for a few weeks and have a bit of natural buzz around her name for a few weeks instead of release a new song almost straight away (that might not perform as well as they want it to). Give Gaga 3/15 and have a few weeks of buzz and then Billie can come 4/5 and again have a few weeks of new buzz (on top of the WWIMF? resurgence) before Taylor comes 4/19 and clogs up the system for a few weeks. :lakitu:
