February 29, 20242 yr comment_25399776 the 4 year album cycle is very tired now.. it might have worked in the past but times have been changing for years now, and music should never be worked on for that long, if you have to struggle to make something it's probably not that great to begin with, gaga's earlier projects never took that long and they're so good, creating should be spontaneous and fun, not regimented and pre-planned years in advance, she said she used to pen songs in minutes... not to bring her up but I REALLY don't like Taylor for many reasons but i have to say, the way she's releasing albums fees capitalist af but also very, free, like she's just going with it and having fun with it, her era's are always blending in with each other and there's no true single era anymore, there's always something there, i feel like gaga could be doing that too, the thing is, she's such a perfectionist its to her own detriment sometimes, the amount of unreleased material that we all love that gaga thought was trash just proves it.
