Gaga funnily enough did the one thing that did make sense with her TikTok video doing the dance and her team did something that made sense by making sure it was attached to the show itself. Everything else fans tried to push as if the song was a single fell flat in my eyes. They could have pushed it more on Spotify and release the sped up version more quickly, tbh, so that was probably the main place they failed, but everything else Gaga fans wanted her to do would have come off as desperate. Because it's fan content. I understand what you mean, but Gaga still has one of the biggest fanbases out of all the pop girls, almost her entire career was build on fandom relationship. I agree it may have not done much for the overall numbers of the song, but keeping fans excited is extremely important too. It helps the song's longevity. That would've been such an easy way to release new content (since the film is probably just shoved in a drawer getting dust right now). Maybe add lyrics to the video and bam, you have cool content that is miles better than a simple 2011 youtube audio which is the only official thing we got there. Then, release the live version on Spotify to get more hype. There were so many things they could've done, but it feels like they didn't care that much. I'm hoping HML and Paparazzi keep their momentum going for a while (Judas has been pretty stable since going viral last year). And we never know, another random song off of any of her albums could end up being attached to a TV show or movie that blow up out of nowhere.
