I mean yes I'd take her mental state now than what is it was in 2013, but if we're talking about the stan experience removed of her general existing state, it sucked this year. One can simultaneously ask for content and wish her mental state well.

The ARTPOP era was traumatic for Gaga but we were getting performances, candids and photoshoots every other day. I never let the negativity of the era rain over my excitement from the joyous moments it did deliver. 

I'm kinda glad she's not speaking on the israel and palestine conflict. A lot of her peers are getting dragged left right and center for picking sides or even for being centrist.

Of course we can have both, but that's not what I was responding to. I was responding to people saying this is the worst year to be a Gaga stan and I simply disagree. I think that's extremely hyperbolic considering what we've had to see Gaga go through in the past.

 

If we're only thinking selfishly about ourselves, then yes it's been a dry year. 

Chromatica has been aging really well for me. I was underwhelmed when it first came out, but it is a really solid album 

Now is way worse than 2013-14 lol, y'all care for atrl and gp approval so much it's insane. 13-14 was filled with content, how could it be worse than current crickets? 

Also I just rewatched Joanne Tour and it was worse than I remembered. Chromatica Ball is so much better, especially her dancing, overall energy and outfits.

No it wasn't lol, so we got so many greats concerts and new album

2013-2014 was definitely WORSE but this doesn't change the fact that this year also has been rough for the fans so far 

maybe i'm being a bit biased but for me it was still a fun time since I met so many of my close friends til this day from ggd and we went to the Applause GMA premiere at times square, original artRAVE concert in Brooklyn which was amazing, Roseland shows, and the artrave tour. It was a fun era for me despite the darkness she was facing. I think we can all agree that 2023 has been her best year mentally since she's been looking happier and healthier than she's ever been but content-wise it is also one of her most uneventful years.  

How can two years packed with great street fashion, countless live performances, some of them literally career highs, two albums and a world tour be worse than dead silence, only in cupcakeworld

She looks so out of it. It’s honestly difficult to watch most of her ARTPOP performances. It is actually crazy how much she changed between 2012 to 2013. She would have never served a performance like this during the BTW era. Then you have all of the DWUW performances where she simulated sexxx with *.Kelly 
 

In her Vegas jazz performances she is fully present and you can tell she’s enjoying herself

One my friends received the invitations via email with the location and all of the hosts that will be in attendance. I know other people received theirs from Gaga personally (the crowd that were always waiting near her hotel and a few people I know on ggd).

In 2023 hindsight, the R Kelly stuff is pretty much unforgivable. It’s a miracle she is such a respected artist after that mess
