i'm always going to wonder what they cooked up sans angel down and how it sounded - wasn't it rumored they had a song called frankenstein? people in this base have written off redone to be dated in production and whatnot but his songs specifically with gaga sonically doesn't compare to his others... even if you wanna cross reference a dark pop dance song like 'mannequin factory' by porcelain black vs. judas or scheisse, he had a certain magic with gaga. i'd be here to see what they could do in the future (dance pop oriented of course)

As for what the songs they’ve recorded sound like? RedOne wouldn’t get into specifics but says: “It’s a mixture of classic music and futuristic, too – I didn’t want to go too far from what she is. We kept it [similar to] what Gaga is, what she’s done all these years. It’s special.”

So when RedOne says you need to make music that sounds like you, she scraps it. But when Bloodshart does the same thing, she listens. I give up

BloodPop most likely saved us from an album full of the Cures (her worst single, along with MR btw!)

It's funny liddos are still coming for RedOne x Gaga material being dated when it's some of her most streamed stuff still in 2023. While ARTPOP, Joanne and Chromatica released the last decade are fighting for being her least daily streamed album.

 

RedOne can return anytime he wants if he and Gaga can make more iconic stuff together. She definitely needs music than sticks in people mind for longer than two days / weeks.

Well, aside from her first two albums all her recent hits she got were far from redone songs (MR/ASIB), so im not sure if going back would make her go forward which is probably why she never wanted to do the redone thing in 2015 either.

 

this is why her streams for last albums are bad, they're effectively killed by the lead bombing so hard then us radio dont want a lot from her. 

 

I think rather than hits she'd have to create an overall album like BTW where the album tracks take on lives of their own

RedOne made great work with Gaga in the beginning but he's overhyped by the fan base. It's not slander to call this out.

 

Gaga was just as involved in the production of her classics. She was was just as involved in both the highs and shortcomings of her work with Ronson, Bloodpop, and DJWS as well. Bringing RedOne back is not going to magically deliver a future opus. Part of the equation is how far she deicdes to push her material.

Why this fandom so obsess with the idea that gaga should stick with these two producers (namely DJWS and Redone) Like they already gave their best to the point there is almost no point of reunion (see angel down and the cure).  She should just keep looking for new and qualified producers and explore new possibilities not offering fan services
