I recently found out that the house where Poker Face was filmed is right down the street from where she currently lives out in Malibu. That must be a crazy thing to reflect on for her. She had no idea that the song she was filming the video for would be one of the biggest hits of her career, which would eventually help her buy a house down the street.

Most underrated would be Electric Chapel since it's so good yet so forgotten

Most overrated is definitely Shallow, it's B tier interlude with cringe lyrics, especially Bradleys part

She's had so many amazing moments, but ASIB release has to be my favorite one as a stan.

 

The way EVERYONE was loving it and talking about it non-stop, whew. I'll never forget when I walked into my local shop and saw a photo from the Venice Film Festival on the cover of a pretty popular magazine over here. A couple of weeks later, I went to work, entered the studio, and saw everyone gathered around a computer watching the 'Shallow' music video. After the Oscars, there were thousands of comments about their performance online, and the locals couldn't stop talking about it.

 

Gosh I'm so glad I got to experience her re-peak and see everyone appreciating her talent

Scene 98 would win me thinks 

Alice is liked cause of its strong production, not the theme/lyrics. It's baseline is so punchy and starts the record off with good energy. Best production on Chromatica alongside Replay & Stupid Love (yes I said it, I don't care)

 

With that being said, it's not some career highlight so I'm not too opposed to the overrated argument. It's solid.

The Free Woman demo should have been the lead single. Her vocals flow so much more softly with the melody more than the raspy final version

So what if she makes a rock album and serves Million Reasons'd music videos, what then?

I really want to know why Interscope randomly decided to release The Fame Monster as an EP in select territories.

 

It's really muddied Monster as a full body of work, and I'm gagged just learning that it's only 5 minutes shorter than Joanne.

 

Not that it matters because TFM is factually a double album, had its own AOTY nomination, and Gaga considers it an inherent album of its own.

I recall Gaga talking about having a realization a few months prior to its release that it would be her second full body of work in a way and that she didn't like that it was being marketed as a rerelease of The Fame due to that. So I get the feeling Interscope actually wanted it to just be a reissue but she pushed them to also release it as a standalone in addition as a sort of compromise

the artistic leap from TF to TFM is actually insane, it just feels wrong to lump them together

Yeah I’m glad TFM was sold here in the US as a stand alone (though the deluxe was also available)

Alice's baseline is so ******* dirty it kinda makes me h-word when I got my good headphones on
