If Liddos are not supporting Gags then who is going to her concerts and shows? Who is starting ShallowBucks or creating a sh*t ton of soccer mom twitter accounts just so her music can peak higher? Y'all have to get done with this inferiority complex and realize that liddos have been behind and supporting Gags all this time. Even through ARTPOP backlash and Joanne and all the jazz projects or even Haus Labs. Just because we make a joke or two in here or we criticize some of her actions doesn't mean we don't stream the sh*t out of her new releases or we don't pay hundreds of dollars to see her live. She had flops here and there and that's not because we didn't support her, its because she doesn't have the GP support as much as TS does or the media support as much as Bey does. And that is OKAY, Gags have other things that make her shine and y'all should be grateful for that and be grateful that she has this big of a fanbase who is willing to support her so she can do what she wants to do even at points the whole world is against her. If liddos were as unsupportive as much as y'all claim we are, then her career would have never survived ARTPOP.

This is tea, but what is even bigger tea is that Monsters are one of the most insecure fan bases out there. For some reason they feel like Gaga lacks this validation of commercial success just because she doesn't churn out hits like a machine, but the public widely recognizes as one of the biggest and most culturally relevant figures of our time. Monsters are easy to bait because they're desperate for Gaga to have more of a commercial presence when her career doesn't always need it.

 

 

It's actually a huge testament to her that she's been able to maintain a level of respect without releasing often, and it's a result of the investments she's made outside of mainstream music (jazz, acting, film composing, etc.) Artists like Beyonce and Taylor are commercially bigger but lowkey, they NEED bigger albums/tours/moments because they don't have the same creative avenues to pad their careers.

That's always been my take. I remember going on Twitter, YouTube, Reddit, etc. at the time and there were a lot of GP comments about how excited they were that Gaga doing crazy pop again and how they wanted her to get weird... and then the singles were overtly radio-friendly pop. Like, there were multiple viral tweets about Stupid Love being generic mall music with comments about how safe Gaga's become. 

 

I still think that Chromatica would've been more successful had she stuck to her guns and not smoothed out the harder edges of the album. While it may have never truly smashed, I don't think the GP would've shrugged it off so much. Gaga's appeal has always been as a unique voice in mainstream pop rather than quick hits or being safe and palatable. 

AI is starting to give me the creeps lol. So many people on my instagram feed are using that epik software to generate themselves as different characters, hair color and age. Some of them were so good I didn't even know they were AI until the person responded to someone that asked where his tattoo went.

Ai is basically the new make up/Drag transformation trend. 

 

People want to live their fantasy and AI is the second best to see it.

Maybe it does better on weekends but it could also just be a one day thing, I'm sure it'll continue to pick up steam as we get closer to Halloween (especially with it being so high up on that Spotify Halloween playlist).
