There isn't much to say too honestly. It's an OST song for a movie that isn't out for 3 more weeks. She already poured her heart in that essay when she announced it. I screamed at her going online to retweet that meme earlier.  I guess we'll be getting daily iTunes/AM/Spotify links in her stories & tweets starting next week and das it.

Don't know what hormones came over me at this moment but I'm glad gaga released this song

 

The melody for "But don't you let go of my hand" is so damn catchy and the flow of the whole chorus is just so smooth.

I really like it. However, a few points. 

 

1. This is not ARUTW/Shallow level, don't try it. 

 

2. She has some beautiful moments in this, but I'm worried about her having to perform this 17 times on tour, she's pushing the upper side of her register a lot in here and this will undoubtedly be one of the last songs of the night. It's just that this last string of Vegas shows showed how much better her vocals had got after the whole post-Joanne ENIGMA strain happened and I'm afraid it could happen again. 

 

3. I actually think this has radio potential but this movie is not even gonna be a quarter of the cultural moment ASIB was, so in order for it to be mildly successful it'll need radio and I doubt Paramount or Gaga herself would be willing to drop the coin.

it's already getting good adds. no "coins" need to be dropped as if that even happens,

Agreed. I've been humming it all day which is why I find the "no melody" critique confusing a bit.
