Honestly LGN is probably making this up, since the version on All Access (available for radio station download) is the version we have. I doubt there is a radio edit

yeah I think that other version is just the leakers who had it for over a year finally posting it. Paramount probably threatened to sue their asses if it came out before the movie

Yeah definitely, the same version RideorDie and all them heard probably. Gaga said she kept working on it, so it was probably the original version.

Yeah, I'm super excited to see it in the film  Maybe the last scene will be an interpolation of the song with the score, and then they play the full version over the credits

waiT I know why they released this early now. They just want the airplay points to build. The film version will be out on streaming services once the soundtrack is out with the movie. in the end both versions will be combined on the charts so the film version will take over but it will have the cushion of airplay from the original version

I'm like 80% certain about this. Didn't someone post credits here earlier today saying this version interpolates the "Film Version" of HMH

That's a little too good a scenario and too smart of her team/Interscope to even think about lbr Maybe if Paramount is the brains behind all the release and promo strategy, then I could see this working out.

 

Those credits are from the Genius page entry of the released version which says it interpolates "film version" supposedly releasing on May 27. But anyone can edit it so

Tbh is the "film version" even gonna be that different?  They probably just added some extra string arrangements to make it sound a bit bigger, maybe have a longer intro that functions partly as underscoring. It's probably not gonna make much of a difference in terms of the chart run. Regardless, the one released today is the "pop radio" version of the theme song which is basically always the one pushed (assuming the alleged leaked one is just an older version).
