The intro sounds like a Black Mirror cookie begging to be put out of its misery.  It's just unpleasant. 

 

I'm lyrics/production aren't doing anything for me yet but the vocals run me TF over every single time.  It's like a sonic boom of slayage.

I don't really care about the song tbh.  It's good, but definitely sounds like an OST single, whereas Shallow and ARUTW sound like songs from a solo studio album.
