I agree with all the sentiments about appreciating our fave for the excellence she always delivers but I can't help but laugh about the CB tour footage specifically. It's legit so weird that she records her tours but never releases their footage.

At the end of the day, many of the resemblances can 100% just be coincidence, but Lady Gaga certainly has never been afforded the same consideration whenever people accuse her of copying. So as petty as it is, I can at least understand where much of the annoyance is coming from.

Remember when they called JOANNE Outfits as Beyonce's Walmart Version?

There are some similarities yeah, but like they clearly both drew inspiration from the same futuristic/alien/cyberpunk/AI robot/etc aesthetic. And the Frederik Heyman visuals should be linked to Arca if if anything, she was the one who truly put him on the map before Gaga/Beyoncé worked with him dd. Idk its all just giving braindead 2011'd nonsense that Madge stans used to say about Gags.

it's just a product of stans not having a breadth of references to pull from. everything is so surface level to the majority of them. like you said, they are both pulling from the same reference, but gaga approached it differently from bey. the similarities are coincidental because when two people are pulling from the same thing, similarities are bound to happen.

Thank you. Monsters are such a doormat fanbase here. One of the biggest popstars just did a Chromatica cosplay tour and Monsters are still the ones getting punched, it's hilarious. Imagine if it was the other way around. That's why I barely post in this base anymore.

but what are we supposed to do? stans on atrl will always do stuff like this. gaga is the most universally successful and respected popstar on this forum so she's always going to be a punching bag to stans who cannot stand that fact. we can't change that. all we can do is understand their anger comes from pure jealousy. it is a fact the beyhive and swifties hate gaga because she accomplished with ONE movie, her first movie, what their faves have spent years trying to accomplish. that is a them problem, not a monster problem imo.

Tbh we need to give Gaga more flowers because clearly she is putting certain themes and concepts in the map for other pop starts to get inspired from, which is an amazing thing.

absolutely, and to most people her continued impact on the pop landscape is obvious. but trying to convince ATRL users who have things like 'proud OGH' in their sig is just a waste of time and energy
