The Edge of Glory I can understand to an extent, which suffers from a fired director and truncated shoot, but even then Gaga is serving more **** twirling around a smoke filled fake NYC street / fire escape than TSwift can manage playing dress up with all the ADHD CGd visuals tricks that can be fit in to 3 mins.

It's because it was the first time a video from her was simple, plus there was a lot of hype for the supposed Kahn one.

TEOG is only hated because we were all hyped and in love with the mermaid concept, the hype continued and we were all watching the live premiere on American Idol (I think?) only to get a one-location dance-only video for such an explosive song

I do like it though, I ******* LOVE her look and the 80s street aesthetic

I honestly don't want ARTPOP Act II or anything ARTPOP related this year   I would rather her put effort and time into a new project. A cute little happy 10 years ARTPOP post and be on her way.

She can be in the studio recording new songs right up until the album has to be handed in; she can be going to sessions later this year and still have the album out in the first months of 2024 if that is what she wanted.

 

Honestly it’s impossible to predict what she’s doing next at this point. She must have things booked in before Joker promo commitments start.

The worry is she will be chipping away at a new album for the next 18 months inbetween Haus Labs, Vegas and brand deals before switching to Joker and then switching back to chipping away at LG7 into 2025.

My gut says the focus is shifting towards creating LG7, hence why we saw Gaga & Burns together close to the studio. I think we’ll get the album before Joker next year, whether it’s spring or summer.

lead single - July 2024

2nd single - Joker soundtrack, September 2024

album - September 2024

The movie would help sell the single and album too
