Fun things I’ve just thought about;

 

- When Gaga first attended the Oscars in 2014 as the face of Versace with all the dumb “Hollywood Most Unwelcome” drags, she would occasionally be seen in the audience when Ellen was interacting with the crowd a ways back from the stage. That was the year Jared Leto won Best Supporting Actor. Another cute foreshadowing moment.

 

- If Gaga were to win Best Actress in 2025 it would be exactly 10 years after her Sound of Music medley brought down the house and she received her first standing ovation (featuring one Bradley Cooper).

It makes me sad how much Interscope dropped the ball on Bloody Mary. Of course it did great considering it's an 11 year old, but I definitely think it had a lot more potential. In the end, not releasing an official sped-up version ultimately killed it, and now with its streaming numbers rapidly on the decline, would a sped-up version even have affected the original at this point? Such a basic thing to do and they didn't do it. People would have streamed the hell out of it, and it would've given it a whole new life in the new year. Now it's already over and we're barely into February Oh well I guess

It really is fine...a random 11 year album track having the moment it did was not even on anyone's Lady Gaga bingo card.

 

Also, it will forever have streaming traffic as if it was a single, which is pretty much the best thing that could happen to it. Once a song goes viral it usually remains successful on streaming for a long time even if its not charting.
