I don’t get why people are so worried about a 5 year wait. Especially when Joanne -> Chromatica was a 4 year wait, but we still got The Cure and ASIB which was the biggest splash Gaga’s music career had had since Born This Way anyway. I’m thinking Gaga will focus on HMH during this awards cycle, release a droplet single for a revamped Enigma show, and then release a lead from the JFAD soundtrack before LG7. It’s not like we’ll have a total drought.

Because 5 years in the streaming era especially with Gaga’s poor playlisting seems to be quite dangerous in the context of her streaming numbers both during the drought and the release cycle. 

 

Gaga will hardly be able to focus on HHM since she will be filming Joker. I think she will only attend Oscars if she will be nominated. 
 

Hoping she will indeed release something from Joker as a single, yes.

Even considering L4S, 3 years gap without totally nothing it's unprecedented with her, let's really hope for some droplets.

It did. It’s all thanks to TikTok actually. The re release boost was nowhere near as big (despite similiar peak) as this one and it didn’t last long.

Outside Taylor, Rihanna is probably a shoe-in. Tom cruise dragged the Globes and gave his award back, Gaga won’t attend. Aside from that, they like to give MPG a chance and seem more open to Payola (which we know both Rih/Tay fit the bill of 

LWIF got TTH, MV, and in the film and has the same streams as ITA which is literally just an album track (her first ever to hit 100m) it wasn’t in the film.

 

This was a missed opportunity!
 

(And even regardless could’ve been the fourth single in La France in Aug/Sept 2019)

I think it also has to do with Chromatica’s rollout being cut short due to COVID. If we got the rollout that her team planned for her I think people would have been way more fine with waiting for another main studio album from her

Yeah i expect them to not give anything to Top Gun by default for that reason, they probably gonna give to TG some nominations just to not look out of touch, but no way they're gonna vote for anything related to it.

 

I doubt Tom Cruise is gonna attend or anybody from the cast, curious to see if Hollywood will act like nothing happened and majority will be back to kiss their ass or if there will be people who keep boycott them, not sure if the add of some new members will be enough, we'll see.

The Golden Globes will give BOS to who ever is willing to show up to their show. 

Will Rihanna even personally get a nomination for Lift Me Up? It is a song writing award and Rihanna is known for not being a song writer. There’s a chance Lift Me Up gets nominated at the Oscars and Rihanna gets nothing.
