To be honest if we take in award season promo for Joker in 2025 then LG7 might indeed be settled for 2026

 

I highly doubt that she’s been in the studio for non-Joker stuff, but they better give us ARTPOP 10 year anniversary content to at least hold us over 

 

Gaga is 100% doing something next year. It just might not be a pop music album. 
 

Broadway is still a possibility. 
She could be filming a guest appearance in a TV show. 
Maybe she really will release some re-recordings of act 2 songs for ARTPOP’s 10 year anniversary 

 

There has to be more than just Vegas and Haus Labs (and an Oscar performance) for 2023

Then we will have for sure the soundtrack with the release of the movie in Q4 2024, that she will consider another music release as well, this sort of distinction of "side projects" with solo studio album is just an ATRL thing, for the people involved it's 100% their work and albums that belongs to their discography that requires effort and time, soundtrack or jazz album is just a classification of genre, but that don't make those projects with less involvement or comittment.

 

(it's not casual all the payola and the lead single treatment the Rihanna soundtrack single is getting despite majority of her stans always downplayed and dragged soundtracks as if it's something easy to pull, not valuable and an easy hit like jumping on a remix of an already successful song).

 

Concretely It will be 2 years with no possible music releases and I'm pretty sure for the label is fine considering she's gonna work at future projects in this period, things require time, there's no indication she has started worked on something and it's just unrealistic imo expecting her to start, finish and releasing an album in few months next year, those times have passed.

i say its all good, its good that judas is getting second life on tiktok, and just dance too, let younger generations discover her older stuff, shallow and arutw are still newer gaga songs that people are listening

I think if Joker 2 SMASHES and makes academy noise they should do this, it’d be her Sweetner/TUN (it was hinted that Chromatica was talked about coming out right after Shallow’s Oscar win), and it’s show Gaga’s team is coming towards streaming era.
Mind you, it couldn’t be just solid work that relies on the recent era hype, we still want her best possible output.

With having barely time to manage both music and movie career, Broadway truly wouldn't make sense next year, not to mention she still has Vegas dates to do and a new contract coming as well... If she barely has time to make a new record, no way she will have time for doing the most demading thing in the entertainment field.

Well it’s actually an industry trend this year  that people are going back to artists old catalogues, Also females are thriving, and the idea that music is music vs. Whoever has ‘cool’ factor is what gets streamed.
I firmly believe that’s why Judas is now smashing, cause of Sam/Kim being LGBTQ artists putting out unholy too Judas isn’t far off that realm, same theme audience kinda noisy too

 

(Katy is also benefitting a lot from the new era)

I believe ROM will be able to stay in top10, but I always saw it as a summer song, so its not that surprising the streams are smaller

But you are absolutely right with this new trend, like Katys Teenage Dream and TOTGA are getting massive updates it was only a matter of time before Gagas music got in this trend

Makes total sense. She's gonna take 2023 as a year off, and she'll write and produce in 2024. 

 

So 2025 it is for the album. A totally normal gap for someone 15 years into her career.
