The fact that she managed to put Bad Romance, Alejandro, Monster, Dance In The Dark, Speechless and So Happy I Could Die in the same album. Listening to it for the first time was the moment I KNEW she was about to be a legend.

A Q4 2023 release would be a dream schedule wise but not happening, she would need to have an album ready already, she's gonna be busy with filming the movie until Spring 2023 more or less (plus she might attend some awards season events as well), no way she jumps from filming a movie to the studio without taking a break and even if that happens, I strongly doubt it would be ready for Q4 2023, not to mention she has some Vegas dates to do next year.

Q4 2024 --> Joker release with soundtrack;

LG7 --> 2025 best scenario.

She has 2 YEARS of nothing happening but a few weeks of filming which starts next month. She's seriously going to serve 3 years of complete musical dust (not to mention the last 2 minus a 2018 jazz album and some remixes she had nothing to do with)? I find that really hard to believe. I can easily see LG7 coming in mid-late 2023 or even early 2024 in time for the revamped Vegas tour (if that's still happening).

I mean if it's up for me she could release even now whatever leftovers from 'Chromatica' she has ready, but I'm trying to be realistic considering her timing of the last years and the fact that she is not taking a break since awhile, I would be glad to be wrong, but I truly don't see her releasing an album next year.

I just came here to say, as a fellow Gaga HUGE stan, I just listened to the Born This Way album after who knows how many years, and it brought back all those memories with that album. I've been here during the meat dress VMAs, her singing the snippet there, the Mugler show with GH and Scheisse playing, her looks, BTW Grammy performance, Judas release on Easter, album release day with the banners everywhere in NYC. Wow, so mamy memories came back.

Reflecting on my last 10 years, that album really changed something in me and I'm glad it did. A little bit of nostalgia left here.

Have a nice day everyone and appreciate yourself, you deserve it :heart2:

But cmon five years between Chromatica and LG7 is just insane. The only way I would be content with that is if she eschewed commercial success and made a truly experimental body of work.. otherwise it’s WAY too long of a break imo.

The next decade for Gaga’s career is gonna be very interesting because she obviously has more roles lined up or coming her way.. her album pauses are gonna be 6 years between each project at this point :deadbanana4:

I luuuv hearing stories like this because I was only 10-11 during BTW’s rollout and had limited access to the internet back then so I never grew up with fan discussions around her work.. I just remember being a big fan of her songs.. I didn’t even know ARTPOP was a thing until years later :deadbanana4:

Yes, I was 15 and spend all my time on the Internet because I had no friends :sosad: So only friends I had were people on GagaDaily and Facebook groups and the we would spend everyday discussing new perfomances or new street looks, it truly was THE album of the decade for me

You need to subtract the pandemic years from that gap since they practically don't count. So yeah, 2025.

I was thinking the same thing lol, but 2026 is the safer bet imo.

There’s a bit of variety in how the demo version of HMH plays out, more piano for one and the first pre chorus has more impact cause of the violins behind it. I did notice the instrumental under the static intro in the final version sounds like it’d fit in with penny returns interlude too

Me when I'm doing the absolute most

So ARTPOP will turn 9 this month and I'm so into it right now. Kinda her most underrated album, it truly was ahead of its time, like she said back in 2021. The production is still so fresh (in most, not all of the songs) and DWUW is kind of her best song ever (I still have the original version :rip: ). She should have known better and picked Drake as a feature, the song would have went #1.

No one knows for 100% sure that she isn’t going to release anything at all between now and Joker 2.
After the award season this year we definitely saw them tackling her rotting streams.  We have had music projects since Chromatica, like remixes and more. it’s whether it’ll be something a bit more substantial or some like cover or smth

Thing is, this is ATRL mentality, I'm pretty sure she and her label consider her last music project release L4S last year considering she also promoted it, got tones of awards nominations and stuff, then we had in 2022 the droplet 'Hold my Hand' + stadium tour.

Then we will have for sure the soundtrack with the release of the movie in Q4 2024, that she will consider another music release as well, this sort of distinction of "side projects" with solo studio album is just an ATRL thing, for the people involved it's 100% their work and albums that belongs to their discography that requires effort and time, soundtrack or jazz album is just a classification of genre, but that don't make those projects with less involvement or comittment.

(it's not casual all the payola and the lead single treatment the Rihanna soundtrack single is getting despite majority of her stans always downplayed and dragged soundtracks as if it's something easy to pull, not valuable and an easy hit like jumping on a remix of an already successful song).

Concretely It will be 2 years with no possible music releases and I'm pretty sure for the label is fine considering she's gonna work at future projects in this period, things require time, there's no indication she has started worked on something and it's just unrealistic imo expecting her to start, finish and releasing an album in few months next year, those times have passed.
