BTW truly felt like a pop event that nobody managed to replicate in terms of hype and anticipation, the album was excellent, totally different from what people were releasing in that period in terms of imagine, sound, lyrics and production.

Once in a lifetime album and pop event truly.

I'm glad it's getting the love it deserves on Spotify.

but i have to say, this grammy look/performance is so underrated, nobody is doing this kind of red carpet apperances anymore

 

and i have to say, one of the reason why many of btw performances/looks feel underrated and not talked about more is, i believe, because there were so many, from february to december of 2011 gaga was all over the globe, delivering maybe over 100 performances and street looks, that over time even the stans couldnt keep up, like her versace era where she wore teal hair and vintage versace is not talked about more because after she was done with  it, she started you&I era, and after that marry the night era, she was just going foward, not stoping for a even a week

Maybe she will collab with someone during the drought.

Yeah this performance often doesn't get the right recognition, I think it's because it was lowkey kind of simple to what fans were expecting back in the day, looked back at it now, she delivered one of her best vocal performance while dancing, the egg was simply brilliant.

The promotional tour for this era was simply insane back in the day.

 

 

A bit late to this conversation, but Gaga definitely still needs to deliver another magnum opus / fantastic body of work. Its a bit delusional to think that she's got nothing left to prove musically. She's got the #1 hits, classics, albums sales, Grammys, an Oscar, a BAFTA, a shitton of other awards, etc. The Fame Monster and Born This Way are arguably her magnum opuses depending on who you ask (I lean towards the latter) and they will always be important for her legacy but she has it in her to deliver more great records. I'm a Joanna stan and I do love Chromatica as a whole despite its flaws, but I do admit that they both don't live up to her talent/potential and what she's really capable of. They did what they needed to do at the end of the day, but both had great ideas/concepts and the execution fell flat. I'm not even referring to Metacritic scores, hits, and that **** here btw. 

 

Tldr; she needs to trust her intuition/vision, let go of her fans expectations/people-pleaser mindset, and she will top Bible This Way.
