Finally back from the banland

I cant believe i was banned for 2 months only cause I posted on the Ava Max performing at a supermarket thread and I comment that she is on the same level of relevancy with Katy Perry. And that led to a wp " for being off topic" and a ban even if i had previously  0 active wps

I don't know ha, last time I used this thing was in 2017.. it has 0 replay value and the dramatic intro didn't help.

I think Chromatica honestly could have been her best era since BTW if it wasn’t for the pandemic and the protests happening the week of its release. It’s obvious they had a big launch planned and when it all went to shut, they didn’t know how to salvage their plans and it’s not like they could have future proofed since we didn’t know how long quarantine would last. If Chromatica was release a year or two earlier it would have been her biggest era since Fame monster I’m thinking.

People act like Gaga could've had a totally normal era even if she wanted to, and so many people expected her to do Dua level promo even though Dua was not even a household name for FN, and FN caught on much more organically to justify extensive promo. If Joanne had been released during 2020 with all the extenuating circumstances we wouldn't have had any of the MR performances and wouldn't have even gotten a Joanne music video. Like...

Honestly she didn’t need to do promo anyway. She still got a #1 album & single. Promo would just be to satisfy fans and at this point in her career, you’re either with her or not. She clearly has other passions she wants to dedicate most of her efforts to and I’m honestly just thankful she still came back to give us a dance pop album 

I'm not buying the "she's got nothing left to prove" thing. She's only got 5 #1s compared with Rihanna or Katy. She's got a lot left to prove and clearly still likes recording music  Film is a big new adventure for her and that's amazing but music will always be a place for her to prove herself.

I'd like Gaga to get more #1 hits, and win AOTY, but aside from that there isn't much left to prove when it comes to music. Maybe get a 81+ album on Metacritic?

#1 hits are irrelevant. Many of legendary artists have less than three #1s. Do you think Beyoncé, Nicki and Taylor’s most recent #1s will even be remembered in 10 years? Gaga could live off of the success of Poker Face, Bad Romance, Telephone, Born This Way and Shallow

 

She honestly has nothing left to prove in the music industry besides expanding her touring numbers, which will gradually happen over time. 

She has a lot more to prove in the acting realm. In movies, tv shows and Broadway. Yes, she is about to win her second academy award, but she needs an acting one

Ok y'all can pretend she doesn't want success in music ever again. Jazz and makeup just doesn't feel like her future to me!

Her #2 and #4 hits are bigger than many #1s. She is already cemented as one of the biggest modern popstars, her catalogue streams are incredible and she has 13 grammys. On top of that, she is talented and can actually sing. So many younger artists take her as an inspiration + she is adored by so many music legends. I mean, only a few can check all those boxes besides her, and we are not even talking about her success in acting.

 

I'm sure she is gonna keep working in music and trying to be bigger and bigger though. That's why I love her, hard working queen
