Initially ASIB stayed in the top250 for awhile I remember, it will be interesting the critics reception too since the first one is rated in the same way of HOG on Metacritic.

Honestly I had no idea ASIB spent time in the Top 250; the way that movie slayed across the board.

 

And the critics reaction will definitely be interesting; after seeing the response Blonde has been getting part of me sees that as a worse case scenario depending with how “controversial” they go with it both with content (that presumably fake script leak kiii) and stylistically with the musical approach.

Yeah it was above 8.0 initially then it started to decrease, there were also tones of fake reviews-rates organized by OGHs to put the lowest rating, for sure at this point that didn't do much damage but maybe it could be 0,1 point more without those.

 

I really don't see them going with a very controversial route, the first already wasn't particular controversial to me, nothing that is punctually made violence wise with American movies, I don't know but a strong controversial route like the Ruimy guy was claiming it seems very unlikely to me, we'll see, I would be surprised, also I'm kind of faithful on the script otherwise I don't think Joaquin would have accepted to return without a solid idea behind this movie, he wouldn't put at risk the legacy of his winning Oscar role.

Looking back, I'm so mad that I didn't pay attention to the praise that ASIB was getting (because I didn't really understand the world of movie critics). It was beloved by everyone. It would've been so fun had I understood the magnitude.
