She definitely brought some of the art world into pop with that album though. I don't think she literally meant the album was a groundbreaking piece of art, but it did bring in Koons, Greek mythology, technology, fashion, and many artistic touchstones into pop culture. People in pop at the time were not doing performance art pieces at the Louvre or getting Jeff Koons to design their album covers necessarily. I'd say some rappers had touched on this, but after ARTPOP a lot of people tried to incorporate elements of the art world into their music or album rollouts.

Personally I wouldn't care if the album flops into oblivion as long as the music is good, majority of the artists that i stan don't do well on the charts but their music is good, so 

 

I do wish that she doesn't abandon the album like she did with ChroMAGA, she doesn't need to do 300 performances but a couple of performances here and there and great music videos would be enough for me.

she just needs to find a narrative that will score a 81+/100 on MC

She’s NOT doing anything with DWUW, R. Kelly has writing credits on all versions. 

After Hold my Bomb flopped hard she needs to release something next year… even just a standalone single.

Correct, promo is TTH and radio now, ant usually 1-2 performances. As Gaga is further in her career promoting non stop and getting more then 2 Singles will be something quite hard to achieve. I think her next album should go in hard for what she wants to say and not catered into anything. Maybe she can get a surprise hit through the Joker 2 campaign

Same here majority of the music I consume since years it's from artists that are irrelevant charts wise like Kali Uchis, Jessie Ware and Kaytranada.

 

I would never stan artists that I find particularly mediocre and safe like a lot of people on ATRL do just because of their sales, as if the money from the sales enter in my bank account

 

Gaga has nothing left to prove charts wise, if good numbers-streams happen are just a cherry on the top, the quality of music is the priority.
