They need to do something about the two versions of Mayhem on Spotify. Atm if you go onto her page the version that comes up on popular releases right after The Dead Dance is the version without the extra tracks. So anyone wanting to listen to the full album is likely to click on that and if they don't know there are more songs they will miss out on the others. You have to click "see discography" and click on the latest version of Mayhem to get the full tracklist. I've already seen multiple people not being able to find it.

I mean I just don't think random people on Twitter are qualified to decide that. They are literally just using the logic of "AI results in weird mistakes so this must be AI" i don't think that logic is sound. Also not all uses of AI are bad. Generative AI is bad because it is trained on other people's artwork (usually without consent) and then used to replace those artists taking their jobs away and wasting tonns of energy in the process for a worse product. Some VFX studios do use forms of AI to make their work easier though. It was used on those spiderverse movies but that doesn't mean those movies were AI art/AI slop. It was used as a tool to make life easier for the artists. So yes maybe some form of AI was used but if that's the case it doesn't mean it's "AI slop" it was made by a vfx studio and I don't feel like I'm qualified to even determine if AI was used.

Btw TDD is growing on me as expected. Not gonna be one of my faves, but it's a cool song. I'm not revisiting that video though 

 

The only thing I have against both song and video is that it reminds me too much of Tiktok culture. Lyrics speak about doing a dance and proceeds to do a Tiktok crafted dance. Nothing wrong with that, might be the old man in me lol But I like more organic songs for artists like Gaga, not a quick gig for an app that's on trend.

 

In the same aspect, it's too intentionally halloweenie. Gaga has been the queen of Halloween for authentic songs that just happen to connect, I don't want her to be Party City just for the sake of it

That'll change when KFL, CSTH and TDD get more streams. It automatically gives that version more streams and therefore is more popular, replacing the original.

Basically I think my only issue with TDD is that the chorus and the bridge sound like a different song to the verses. I wish they went harder than they do. It's not even that they are bad they just aren't as good as the rest of the song.

Her streams have been dipping a bit lately. She used to pull 19–20M daily without issue, and even Sundays, typically her slowest day held steady at 18M. Now, she's down to around 16M daily streams.
