It will look bad if she doesn’t get nominated. She is supposed to be one of the academy’s favorite artists. If she can’t get a nomination for one of the biggest movies of the year, people will question if the academy has moved on from her. Getting nominated is better than not being nominated. 
 

Now, a win is more complicated. Winning two academy awards is a big deal, but it will lower her chances of winning a Best Actress award in the future. 
 

But at the end of the day, 3 Oscars is better than 1. I hope HMH wins and then in 5-10 years she ends up in an undeniable role where they have to give her an acting one.

ARTPOP the song sucks so just work on your taste and we'll agree

i feel like Enigma & Artpop match each other in similarity (BEST SONG OF THE ABLUM) yet are among the worst songs of the album.

 

Is anyone avaiable to explain how either of these wrecks are appealing in any way?

Say what you want about AP but Enigma live was an experience?

 

Enigma is a highlight both in Chromatica and in the Chromatica Ball Tour.

Enigma was hands down the best Chrome ball performance. ARUTW was 2nd - the bass rattled my core

I will literally NEVER get the rationale behind "umm I don't want her to be nominated" or "it's better if she's NOT nominated"  if you want to say "I don't think she'll be nominated because of [insert reason]" that makes some sense at least. It's not even about the prestige factor it's just plain dumb like why are you rooting against your own fav  an Oscar nomination is still pretty huge. Win or lose, we'll see if and after the nomination actually happens.

I know she doesn't have anything left to prove. But it would be so cool if she manages to have another smashing era + album + a couple more #1 solo hits. I know she can do it, but she needs to really want it too. Having her name in the top of the music world one more time would be so incredible, I just love to see her everywhere.

I dont think it will happen tbh. Her music consumption units keeps decreasing per era except for the insane ASIB rebound. But once Gagz is in her 40s she is tots not gonna give a crap about a full blown era especially if we add in a baby or two. I mean she isn't a mother yet and she already does not fulfill full blown eras anymore. Imagine when she has kids  

Let's just learn to radically accept this
