I want the Back to Basics era Gaga with minimal production on cute little pop songs where she performs every single with her classic acoustic piano arrangements. Teacups, funny hats and giant glasses and all. Ahhh a dream!

i def don't use it much anymore. ASIB is everything Joanna wanted to be but like 100x better, so there's literally no need for it anymore. That said, Diamond Heart is still one of my favorite Gar songs 

can she like post a studio pic with #LG7 as the caption  it's been 2 years since Chromatica and we know nothing.

video would start with her dropping off her ARTPOP costumes and grab that Joanne hat and perform in a dive bar plus shots of her flirting and dating men

 

Second Single - Million Reasons (October 2016)

same kind of rollout she did but a better video

 

Third single - John Wayne (February 2017)

after the Super Bowl, launching the video she did but not an AM exclusive and perform it a the GRAMMYs instead of that Metallica performance

 

Fourth single - Dancin In Circles (April 2017)

we know John Wayne wouldn't have smashed or anything and DIC might have tanked but give it a cute release after Coachella to get that "summer" song

 

Fifth single - Perfect Illusion (August 2017)

no smash here but a cute send off as the song still deserves to shine tbh

 

Sixth single - Joanne (Where Do You Think You're Going) (January 2018)

also no intent to make it a hit but a future Grammy winning song

 

overall I think A-Yo could have done a cute top 10 debut and would have been a good entry to the Joanne era, MR would have been the ballad she would push like she did anyway, John Wayne to bring back some of her early fans to the esthetic which would translate into DIC, PI to close the era as it is before Joanne WDYTYG is launched as final goodbye to the album and GRAMMY bait for 2019

I like this rollout although I'm still a Perfect Lead apologist

 

I don't think AYO would have been a hit, but it certainly would have done less damage than PI and it represent the album more tbh. The album didn't really have any surefire HIT but I still admire her commitment to pushing Million Classics down everyone's throat. She said i AM gonna make it a signature hit. If only we knew that was the last time she would hustle and promote a song that hard.

The latter might have her best ballad (ARUTW) but it will never have Perfect Illusion or Diamond Heart, and that's why Joanna remains better. Not gonna argue with anyone sowwy.

 

I don't hate Million Reasons, it's a cute song. 

 But thanks god , now we have Always Remember Us This Way,Shallow, I'll Never Love Again,Is That Alright and so we can stop pretending that it is her best ballad ever. It's a cute and a bit boring song and certainly not great.

Joanne was the boring era ever,it was like her jazz eras. It was a nightmare thinking that every video she will release, every performance she will do , will be a non event. She would wear just a random jean and a t shirt and she will give us nothing. Wow who we survived that era? 

How we survived thinking that she might do the whole Superbowl ala Joanne era ? So she would have served 13 mins just wearing jeans and singing with her guitar country songs that no one asked? The nightmare 

But fortunately she made the Superbowl performance exactly as the fans wanted to be

Joanne is a great album, Just Another Day is my favorite (followed by Sinner's Prayer) and I love Hey Girl. The era was great content wise (we had a lot of performances), but as many said, her looks were terrible, the jeans, the white t-shirts .

Imagine if Always Remember Us This Way had the promo that Million Reasons had . Countlesa performances everywhere, X Factor, Karaoke Carpool, American Awards, SUPERBOWL!!! and so many more  

It would have been like the biggest song of the century. I am sure it would have been close to 2,5b on Spotify alone by now. 

Shallow was lucky,cause otherwise ARUTW could have really overshadowed.
