I hate how ageist radio is. The reason Ari and Dua became the streaming queens is in large part because of radio. Gaga’s rise was impacted by radio. It’s like they totally turned their back on her.

They said no ma'am after Artpop. The radio's treatment to Garg is analogous to ex-stans during artpop, they forced themselves to like Applesauce but jumped ship when they realised the quality of the parent album. That's not saying that Applesauce's a bad single of course.

Radio s relevance is decreasing year by year. Gaga now needs to focus on proper playlisting of her new and old songs. And let the audience decide if her songs are stream worthy or not. Just look at Don't talk about Bruno. It enjoyed a lot of support with no radio at all.

Gaga's biggest issue is insufficient playlisting. For example, she could have bloody Mary and monster for all Halloween playlists but her manager is doing NOTHING

This whole streaming era is just bs. Kind of wish she’d just be a full-time actress sometimes if she can’t be a massive force in pop.

I don't want her to be massive but be in the top 10 best females at the very least. I feel we get more gratification from her music than her movies. If she releases one album, that suffices me for at least 1.5 years. Gaga just needs to release one song in at 4-5 months but she NEVER does that. Her last pop video release was 911 that was 18 months ago. This is not sustainable for a pop star in the streaming era. Artists get forgotten in such a span of time. She's lucky she is still relevant.
