OT: Hold My Hand is a beautiful song. People were expecting a slow piano ballad like ARUTW and Shallow but she went the unexpected route and gave us an epic guitar rock ballad

Blackpink collab was a Bloodpop idea, he said it himself in some interviews if I'm not mistaken.

The ticket sales are honestly doing super well considering she's done next to no actual promotion. The star power that her name has to sell out 85% of a stadium tour with a 2+ year old album and a couple of tweets.
 

 

The ticket sales will also definitely surge once the tour starts. Thats whats been happening with most live shows recently. The only act to really sell out shows instantly has been Harry Styles and a few select kpop groups. These numbers are VERY good and will put her close to the top female grosser of the year with only 20 shows. If we factor Jazz and Piano in the fall as well, she'll most likely be the highest female touring act this year. The only act that could feasibly pass her is Blackpink and even then their first arena tour didnt sell too well.

I dont really think they planned for the song to be a single at all outside of a few performances. We know for sure that Gaga was going to go to Korea to promote w Blackpink on music shows, which would have been cool, but releasing the song as a single now would be really dumb for both parties involved.

Same. I don't believe that they had any plans for SC to be a single after ROM. It was just a wasted opportunity because I'm pretty sure a video for the song would have been really good and we were robbed of those performance back then. Let me dream about them making an appearance in one of the US shows while they're promoting Ready For Love.

She sold 15,328 tickets in a month time for these shows without doing any promo and some of them still being months away. Ticket sales are definitely promising and will kick off even harder when the tour starts.

 

The percentage would be even higher if the Chicago, Washington and Boston shows would be included as these are at least 98% sold out. 
 

The EU leg is doing even better, except for the Arnhem date ofc
