Songs That Felt Bigger Than They Really Were?
It’s at 5x platinum now, 13 years later, but it only passed 3,000,000 copies sold 5 years after its release. I don’t think it even topped 2 million sales during 2010. Ofc, Rihanna is a huge streaming force and her amazing recurrent figures helped the song a lot, but 3M sales and 5M units don’t equate how big the song felt.

Songs That Felt Bigger Than They Really Were?
I always felt this way about Rude Boy. It went number one and set airplay recordsa and felt like this incredibly huge summer smash back in 2010. I was shocked to find out it sold like 2M+ units..

Gaga's "Sweet Sounds of Heaven" MIA from global Spotify chart, why?
Oh no, who would have expected this? Her career won’t ever recover from this failure. The Rolling Stones are over and erased too.

Sweet Sound Of Heaven or Mind Your Business?
Both pop icons have been recently featured on other artist’s projects and delivered incredible songs. Which songs suits your musical taste more? The bombastic and catchy “Mind Your Business” by miss Britney Spears or the vocal powerhouse duet “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven” by miss Gaga? https://spotify.link/nuTuYK16sDb https://spotify.link/ImmWeYZ6sDb

Does Ava Max deserve Taylor Swift's level of success?
She’s not even deserving the marginal success her career is seeing right now. She’s the definition of a bland and disposable popstar. I’ve seen her live recently and I totally understand now why she’s never gonna make it big. Rightfully so because she’s a terribly boring live performer, has no stage presence and no charisma. She doesn’t even seem to put much effort in her live shows because there’s no live singing, no live instruments and no choreo. Take away her stupid wig and stage costume and literally every corner bar drag queen with no budget can put on a better show than her. I’m not even a Madonna fan, but the audacity of this little brat to even say that her current tour/live shows were inspired by the iconic Confessions tour should get her locked in jail. I don’t know who even invests in her or her career because she’s literally a worthless pop star. Only thing she could be credited for is giving gays disposable edm tracks that age like spoiled milk the very next week after she releases them. She’s so talentless that even after being in this business for over 5 years she still isn’t able to make a name for herself or have a distinctive musical path. What she should do in order to see an ounce of success for her name is drop the stupid dishsoap stage name, burn her ridiculous wigs, get a decent stylist, learn to play an instrument or use her damn voice and get someone to help her find her sound. Until then, it just sits right with me that she’s a faceless pop tart which is only able to play for 500-1000 people a night despite having released 100 singles by now and having played on literally every TV show here is.

Taylor Swift has released more albums this decade than Billie, Olivia, SZA, Doja, Dua
Cause she’s the embodiment of capitalism.

Lady Gaga
Despite doing only a few selected shows and making most of us travel hundreds or even thousands of miles to see her for the first time in almost a decade, she’s making us starve on the footage for this damn tour. The Chromatica era is truly the trauma that keeps on affecting the fans

Lady Gaga
Do they seriously need A WHOLE DAMN YEAR to edit a 2-hours long concert shot in one single location? Bey just randomly released some incredible footage taken from various Ren Tour shows and she’s in the middle of her tour, travelling all over. What the hell are they still editing on? This is sum bullshhh

Most frontloaded albums of all time?
Oh, what a bombastic campaign! She was so devoted to spread the message of Born This Way in as many places as possible, whilist also giving unique performances in every country she visited and with every new performance. Truly a golden era for her fans and for pop culture in general. She really put her heart and soul in this project and gave us so many incredible performances, looks and concepts. She elevated the game so much with this era! The last female pop superstar of her kind

Most frontloaded albums of all time?
And it’s still bigger than any Beyonce album since IASF, so who cares?

Music predictions that failed terribly?

Biggest fall from grace? Katy Perry's Witness vs Gaga's ARTPOP
ARTPOP surpassed 1B Spotify streams a while ago. The fact that an album released in the streaming era (2017) is only 400M ahead of an album released in 2013 speaks for itself. The gap is also closing day by day as ARTPOP is getting 2.5x more streams than Witness and will eventually get an even bigger boost with its upcoming tenth aniversary. How about you compare their sales if you don’t seem to have an issue comparing their streams? Has Witness even cleared 500K sales worldwide? As far as CSPC units go, ARTPOP is at least 2x bigger than Witness.

Katy Perry daily streams rise on Spotify. Why?
It’s because of her classics

6 years later, Million Reasons a hit, moderate, smash or flop?

Will Katy Perry get another $100m grossing tour?
Her Vegas show is basically a greatest hits celebration and yet she’s struggling to sell out $30 tickets in a city where a drink is more expenssive than that. OT: No

6 years later, Million Reasons a hit, moderate, smash or flop?
To be fair, we’re comparing a ballad released in 2016 that hasn’t spend a single day on TTH with a song that’s been released in 2022 and already spent months on the biggest playlist. Cuff It has the clear edge here. It’s like bragging about MR (1.2M+ sales, one of the last million digital sellers) outselling Cuff It 10 times over.

6 years later, Million Reasons a hit, moderate, smash or flop?
Are we still arguing if a 4x platinum single with great recurrent stats is a hit or not?

Bloody Mary outpeaks Rain On Me on radio - biggest solo radio hit since 2013. Shook?
The attempt at trolling All this when the ORIGINAL song is still pulling 1m daily increases on Spotify and probably around 10 million on unofficial YT videos. The show has also stopped running for months now. The revival this is going to have once the second season starts will make your brains crumble once again seeing how invested in tracking this album deep cut from 2011 some of you all are
