I think Stupid Love is cute until I think about what she's really capable of.  Feels like something she'd ideally write for a Trolls movie soundtrack or something. IDG how she can end up writing something as unique, complex, and introspective as 911, yet also have that on the same album. 

it's really funny how everyone switched on SL  everyone was hyping about it til they saw its chart performance/mv. there was a reason it debuted Top 5.

The pandemic came and went and y'all still on about Stupid Love

Stupid Love is alright. It was meant to be light hearted, not every song has to have complex lyrics like Bloody Mary. Same for Free Woman.

HMH is like TIHTY, Gaga wants everyone relate to it, so the lyrics are generic for GP to understand and relate to their own issues. I wouldn't call it bad like I wouldn't call TIHTY bad.

If you like deeper lyrics with the same massage, you still have Swine (SA) or Marry The Night (uplifting) to enjoy.
