Yeah, that’s what we were told. I would like more dates too but the LiveNation guy said it was impossible due to her busy schedule, whatever that means.

I actually really disagree  If anything I still believe that the styling has got to be the worst I’ve ever seen in a show of hers sans these two:

 

 

 

Her vocals were indeed messy on several dates and ~fine~ on others but she sounded heavenly at the Jazz & Piano shows. All the "cringe" and tacky moments aren't something new for her shows. They were there from start in TMB, BTWBall, etc but they usually had a reason to be tacky or were making a statement. On Enema she's just throwing them in the middle of the show and it feels like she's rehashing an old tour.

 

I still love the idea of her as an anime character and the 90s cyberpunk videogame aesthetic but the styling isn't giving what it was supposed to give. She straight up looks like she's cosplaying her old self with **** bought from a Party City store. That random test photoshoot she did with Eli back in summer 2018 was amazing and served WeirdGa at her peak again much better.

 

This comparison also proves that the general concept/story is fine imo and the styling (Nicola) failed to do the job:

 

Joanne World Tour's visuals and direction >>>>>>>> and I'm pretty confident about The Chromatica Ball too so far. A the end of the day, Enema was a cash grab that allows her to perform and it works for her health. She's giving the locals and TFMga!!! stans what they enjoy and its clearly working because the show is acclaimed and mega successful. Everyone that attended it also gave great feedback so maybe the alcohol and poppers really do wonders.

Why am I seeing some of these sketches for the first time??

 

The way all those neat and futuristic designs got lost in translation with the messy and sloppy execution  or maybe MGM didn't allow something as edgy, who knows... Reminds me of the VMA'13 fiasco with MTV straight up saying NO! to her Applause performance concept 

 

Not like it matters much anyway, it's still an ultra successful show and the locals love it, and people say it's much better live than on camera.

Any chance that Gaga will add ARUTW to her Vegas Jazz and Piano show?

I love the Alien influence so much and I'm glad many things in those sketches made the show (the robot, piano, that pod during Aura, etc) but yeah the execution and outfits made them look so sloppy. I wish we got this one though:
