Evening thoughts: what I would give for a live version of Fly with a stripped back production...it's such a beautiful song and the lyrics still resonate with me today 

Does anyone else feel like "If I Fall" was sort of a spiritual successor to Fly? 

 

I hope we get new renditions of some of the older songs performed live. But I think Come Clean is the rare exception where I'd want to hear it in its original/rockier form. I personally was not a fan of that 2015 remix....

Now that you mention it, yes, I can hear how you're perceiving it. A bit similar to how I perceive Wild Night Out being a successor to Wake Up.

Yeah I hope we get to see her performing more of her classic hit 

 

one thing that upset about 2014/2015 she didn't really perform any of the classics expect come clean 

 

She only wanted to perform new material which I thought was mistake since she has a well known catalogue of hits 

 

thank god she has Matt now to tell her what fans want from her

In her defense, she only performed at one event that allowed her to sing more than one song. Had she followed through with the tour, the setlist would have been an even balance between new and old music.

Her GMA performance apparently she performed sparks and confetti 

 

but confetti was cut from airing apparently

They did air a small portion of Confetti as a segue into/back from a commercial break, didn't they? The same thing happened in 2014 when she sang Chasing the Sun before the All About You televised spot.

yeah i think it's fresh filler in the cheeks and chin. a bit more than she usually gets. i could be wrong about this, but you can actually see dots on her upper lip where it was injected too. i checked her instagram but i don't see those dots so clearly in other pics. she will look the same again within a couple of weeks.

This is such a smooth performance, not perfect but her tone is so clear. Obviously she's not the strongest singer but I love how she floats through the notes, and the bridge damn she killed it. Her low register is so pretty.

This remix is such a serve and one of the best in her discography.

As the Jonas Brothers are live streaming their Orlando show this Sunday, is anyone clowning for Hilary's appearance, or are we thinking the ship has sailed and the rehearsal footage she posted recently is for a show of her own?

I still think it's a possibility. But if nothing happens again, oh well… at least I think it's something exciting to hold when there's nothing but anticipation and guessing.

 

The rehearsal of What Dreams are Made of for me seems more likely to be for the Jonas show or footage for the doc. I would be so surprised if she's already rehearsing for a show of her own.

I've remembered it's Banks' birthday tomorrow so the chances of Hilary wanting to do anything work related this weekend are slim to none.

Now this is an idea I'd like to see come to fruition - especially when this December will mark 20 years since the last time she performed on the show. 

Anyone else notice anything weird about the playlists on her Spotify profile? Looks like there's a duplicate best of playlist now, and they deleted that old "Sparks" playlist too. Could just be a glitch or... preparation for something else?

Didn't notice until now. That playlist is odd, Never Let You Go and Little Lies are there, but none from Best of or WDAMO are. 

They made a best of playlist on her YouTube channel as well, but some music videos are missing, like Come Clean and Play With Fire (don't know if it's because my area though).

You're right, I guess Holiday went on a Holiday 😭 Plus there's a small typo with a missing space in the bio section that's driving me crazy. At least that kind of confirms they didn't use ChatGPT to write it...

Yea her YouTube page needs some work too. It's wild how the Come Clean video is missing from her official page when it's arguably her most well known song.

 

I hope we can ultimately have some remastered videos too. Play With Fire would look amazing in 2160p, although people might be able to clock that the dancer isn't her

The medley is probably my fave. You can clearly hear her vocals there. Also, love the barefeet Stranger performance!
