Do we think when she said music is coming in the "blink of an eye" she was hinting at a song title or lyrics? Because it's obviously not coming in the blink of an eye and that seems like a weird phrase for her to use randomly…

I'm hoping she will announce everything at once

a long gap between the album and single will cause people to lose interest especially if she not promoting 

 

 I'm curious if she was able to get any collabs she struggle to get collabs last album 

 

I'm sure Matthew will be on there in some form 

 

I hope she milk us dry with multiple variants alternate covers and bonus tracks

I thought about this too and wouldn't be mad if it was an easter egg. I wish we had the video interview so we can interpret it a bit more to see if she was just being cheeky....

 

But like someone said before, we likely wouldn't have Variety and Rolling Stone publishing that quote if it isn't true that music is imminent

There's the podcast with the audio. In my opinion she was just trying to not say much hahaha But it would be fun if it's an easter egg or some inside joke we don't know yet.

After all those years, I hope she won't do that. I don't want to get everything all at once and then nothing. I prefer getting small pleasures here and there, and fill myself with excitement multiple times with every single new announcement.

Yeah I would love for it to be an Easter egg of some sort. That kind of stuff, when proven to have been the intent, is something that engages fans in the long run.

 

And I agree we absolutely can't get everything at once. Especially if the intent is for Hilary to return regularly as a musician in the future. The drop it all at once and disappear act will turn people OFF. We need to get plenty of prerecorded content, countdowns, snippets, voice notes, etc in anticipation of the actual album release.

 

The tour SHOULD be announced around when the single is released though. Milk us dry from the ticket prices and gain that hype, then release the album a few months later with a fresh single and at least 10 variants with different covers.

True but I'm worried if the single doesn't perform well the project will get postponed 

 

look at what happened with breathe in  breathe out may push backs 

 

i don't wanna ruffle any feathers but I feel like Hilary could easily pull a Taylor and announce the album with no single and just put it up for pre order 

an drop the single and music video the week of the album release 

 

since she is already an established well known act 

 

but if they are trying to Carter to young new fans with this then maybe not 

 

millennials still have nostalgia for her so I know they would buy just from her name alone

10 variants would be a fever dream! Imagine if each variant had it's own unique bonus track that later became the deluxe album later down the line. She'd practically be giving us a double album.

This!! I'm ready to be FED and by that I mean an extended rollout with all the bells and whistles. Or as she called it "all the things" 

 

The teasing is exciting and I'm along for the ride, but I'm definitely ready for things to rev up a bit.

He directed Wonder by Shawn Mendes, really impressive work imo

From what I've seen, I would say he is okay as a director. Most of his work are very simple though. But he is not always the director, sometimes he is responsible for the choreography of the video.

If she really wants to impress the gays the album shoot will need the full fantasy, complete with c*nty outfits and the pink cloud aesthetic
