I'm so anxious about what's to come. I feel like the window of opportunity to focus on music and promotion is shrinking with that tv show on the horizon. She's producer for that too so that will take up more of her time than just as an actor. Deadline announcements are typically 3-4 months before they start shooting…

As anxious as most of us are, we've just gotta have faith in the process. Hilary appears to be wanting genuine success in music again that she's not going to make the same missteps twice. All things point towards music being the focus for the near future. I wouldn't be surprised if she's working on the entire era rollout pre-launch (music videos, social media campaigns, etc) so if Pretty Ugly is scheduled for filming early next year, her team can post things with her absence for engagement + presence, and she can simply turn up for podcast and television performances/interviews when convenient. I'm gonna guess the tour or residency will be scheduled for late summer/fall with a deluxe release of the album to accompany it. Pretty Ugly premiere October/November, perhaps?

It's always been hilarious to me how her most recognized song (I guess now it's debatable between WDAMO and CC) has been remixed to hell and back since the Most Wanted era, rather than be performed in its original format.

I agree with all of this. No doubt Hilary will be busy the next two months preparing material for her absence (filming Pretty Ugly) and the rollout early next year. 
 

Assuming Pretty Ugly is 8/10 episodes, that'll be a good 2-3 months of filming, so by all means a campaign can start during that time. Tour dates and the album release would probably be announced while the show is in production as well. Summer/Fall makes the most sense for touring purposes. But I do think the show will come sooner than October. Maybe in the summer.

She had the most liked post on E News Instagram feed and people say the GP isn't checking for Hilary like that.

Also, I need Hilary to finally log back into her Twitter account. 

Everyone is falling victim to the "right now" mentality here. Like if she doesn't drop the lead single right now she's going to flop. I get it, we're all starving! Let's remember that the process of making an album takes time. We don't know exactly how long she's been working on it already or how much more she wants to work on it. The deal with Atlantic was only announced in September and I'm sure she didn't have a full album ready when she signed. It also takes a few months to mix, master and manufacture physical copies which they'll definitely want ready for first week sales.

Realistically releasing a first single in October when Christmas music is about to take over and the album isn't logically coming until next April/May at the earliest that would be a mistake. Anyone remember Disease? Exactly. Just a few weeks ago we talked about how poor the timing of her single releases were and how long they used to go between. Releasing anything this year would be like releasing Play With Fire 7 months before Dignity.

I think it's reasonable to expect the campaign to start while she's filming Pretty Ugly. She could definitely film a music video and all the little TikTok/reels content during that time too.

Anyway, I have a feeling everything it's going to be fine. I can tell there's a plan being executed. Been a fan since 03 and haven't felt her be this hungry to do music since the Metamorphosis. Between how much she wants it and having Matthew be her biggest cheerleader helping her and how desperate the fans clearly are she's going to be fine.

It always weird to me how come clean was remixed 

 

I understand with most wanted they wanted to remix some of the songs

 

but for the best of they should have use the album version 

 

either Hilary hates the original or maybe there rights problem with the track which she can use the original I guess we'll never know

Oh, I mean... she for she has no clue / no care

I feel like we're just in the preliminary phase of her pop comeback which is only laying the groundwork: the HQ account getting stood up to create excitement and maximize email signups for future announcements, along with the public appearances. Gotta have faith in the plan

Given her photo with Amelia at the gala, do we think we'll see her on Chicken Shop Date for promo in the future? I'd love to see her on that, or on Hot Ones with Sean Evans

Australia gave fans everything they wanted, especially live vocals. Was good that she ditched the backing track when she started performing All About You in America a few weeks later.

What a throwback! It was the most raw and "real" vocal we've ever heard from her, I remember being nervous for her too lol. She really warmed up after this one

Her lower register is her strongest asset as a singer. We know she can hold/sustain a note in her higher pitch when necessary, but she sounds her best as a vocalist when singing in her lower register. 

I love to see the effort HQ is doing by trying to make some lil games and keep the interaction… but doesn't make any sense you ask for people to participate in a game and give away the answers right away
