Joe Jonas liked Hilary's new IG post with Role Model. I feel like they definitely have asked her to perform with them on their tour, but whether or not Hilary wants to do it is another story. She might want to wait for her first live performance in 10+ years to be on her own terms for her new music. I would love to see it though. They are performing in Austin on the 17th. 

This is a complete reach but what if her cameo at Austin City Limits is an Easter egg for her performing with the Jonas Brothers in Austin, Texas, on the 17th? 

At first I thought she was booked for the California Jonas shows, since it was closer to home.

But now she's going to Milan and Texas for a day… so everything is possible. 
 

I wish we'll have a single by October 17th… I can't wait anymore

but really, the appera ce with Role Model is amazing, she's in it so much the stage oresence is overwflowing. The confidence, the fun and the aura are all there!

It would be amazing if she hosts/performs on SNL this season. I could see it happening now more than ever before. We know Bowen Yang is a big fan of hers. A lot of the current cast and writers are millennials so she probably has other fans there too.

Maybe this era she will finally make an appearance on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. It blows my mind that she's never been booked for his show. Didn't he and Tina Fey originally want Hilary for Mean Girls back in the day?

I remember her album deal with rca was announced in April 2014 but we didn't get chasing the sun til the end of July 2014

I agree. Jimmy is a big Lizzie McGuire which makes it even more surprising that she has never been on there.

That's true. Maybe she can just perform and then cameo in one or two sketches like a lot of the performers do.

It's funny you mention The View because Hilary interviewed Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon on the show in 2005.

Yeah I feel like there's more to why she's never been on that show.

 

She was a Tonight Show staple when Leno was on the air.

Then Fallon took over and she had that one GG guest starring arc where she played the actress on his show but never went on it as herself… Super strange.

 

It would be perfect if she books a performance gig on SNL for album release week and does a sketch or two like @MikeyDuff1D suggested. Maybe do the host gig in the future.

Also, waiting to see who else is a part of the cast of her Hulu show, I hope they build a strong supporting cast around her.

This! While I loooove the hype that is being built for her music comeback, I hope Pretty Ugly doesnt end up like the Lizzie revival. They need to put out some news re the show again just to remind the GP shes taking over TV again too. 

 

 

Also, I hope her team doesnt put her too deep into the nostalgia realm. Yes we loved her y2k era and all but they need to show she's current too.
