I'm not expecting something super bombastic so I'm gonna lean towards dreamy synth pop with a touch of disco sprinkled throughout the soundscape. A similar realm to Taylor's Midnights album but more elevated, layered, and Hilaryfied.

Definitely on the same page, I really hope we get something  dreamy/calming/chill/breezy that her voice can just glide over, with a few bouncy bops and addictive hooks/melodies of course

Honestly she could really pull off a similar vibe to The Loveliest Time by Carly Rae Jepson. She would sound so good on a song like "Shadow" and "So Right". I know it might be kind of a taboo comparison...because reasons ...but they really have some similarities 

This song would be my ideal sound for her album cuts, chill and synthy and melodic

I'm not overly familiar with The Loveliest Time, but I could see Hilary serving up a LA Hallucinations and Too Much type of soundscape. 

Also, whoever produced her pre-recorded vocals for the SMWT back in the day did an immaculate job because her voice on The Getaway tickles my mind in the best way.

Oh her voice sounds so full here, I love it. You can also hear her outside of the pre-recorded track for a split second at 0:18 lol they were really blasting that 

 

I have to giggle at how not even the spoken word part was "live"...  What a time

It's a 4-5 hour flight from LA to Milwaukee which isn't unreasonably long. If Hilary was happy to travel 3 hours to Austin for the ACL stint, an extra hour or two wouldn't be a big deal, right?

5th Harmony was closer to the end of the show. Out of 28 songs played… they were 22 or something like that. 
 

just checked other guest, and Jesse was around song 12, Demi around 26. So nothing is set on stone.

Yeah, more or less. Today seems like a special concert. Joe just sang a new song and now Nick is signing a new song as well

Maybe them debuting new solo material is the reasoning behind the Twitter plug? I mean, I wouldn't want to miss hearing new material from my fave, either. 

guests the past few shows have been after What a Man Gotta Do, so it should be next.
