sorta kinda one of the best songs ever made tbh...

feel slightly dumb to bring the base thread out of mothballs cos i've spent a long time feeling like i'd only ever like about half a dozen songs by her but i'm a little obsessed with the whole dedicated era rn. can't tell if it actually has a slightly more punchy and/or melodic approach than all the other stuff i listened to or if something just clicked in the CRJ spot of my brain this time and actually it was all good all along (this means i have to listen to emotion again *sigh*)

Curious to see where she lands after Interscope, and if we're getting a new album this year!

Carly is back in Sweden to continue doing sessions for her upcoming album!

Also heard from the streets that she has stuff coming up later this year with a costume designer, and considering that she already(?) picked a wedding dress it might also seem her wedding would happen sooner than we think! We *might* get an album this year if things go at the speed I think it's going.

in the ten months + since this post i have made some headway with e-mo-tion (first half + bonus tracks esp is very good but starting to get on with the rest a bit now too) but possible that it might well never match up to dedicated/side b for me which i still listen to all the time

 

now that i found you, everything he needs, i'll be your girl, the sound, automatically in love, stay away, comeback, solo, etc etc etc - obsessed i fear.

 

could i just listen to the whole double set forever and never need anything more by her? it's true, i could

Good evening fellow Jepsies, I need your input on a pressing conundrum

I've been thinking (once I request and receive permission from the mods of course) about organizing a Carly Ra(t)e for a while now and even spending an inordinate amount of time yesterday designing graphics when I should've been working. The conundrum is do we try doing it before CRJ8 drops, wait until it drops so we can conclude it, or wait even longer in case we get another companion album shortly after and we can include that? Let me know what you think fellow PatRaeots!
