Afraid people are going to hate this one, but at the same time, I feel like she's releasing this as the first single to be deliberately antagonistic.

I like this a good bit, but I've only liked her last several outputs. Golden Hour is one of my most played albums of all time, and it may be time for me to stop holding her to that bar... That being said, Loneliest Girl, Uncertain TX and Rhinestoned are my faves!

He's done no promo for this - he's turned down every opportunity that's been offered to him. I don't think it will matter when he kicks off the tour, I'm sure there will be lots of viral social content that will make up for it.

She said that she's "been poor," not explicitly that she grew up poor, that's compatible with the fact that she had to work a service industry job after she was dropped. Yes there's "autoplay" on his catalog tracks – which helps new releases by expanding the Release Radar pool – but you can't opt new songs into Spotify Discovery Mode, you have to wait 30 days after release. It will probably rise after that point once it's eligible, but this is still a solid start.
