I'm almost certain it will. She'll be on tour the rest of the year and that song shows no signs of dying down.

I know she doesn't see herself as a "pop girl" and wants to stay somewhat "alt" in image but man I so wish she put more energy and effort into giving production. Like ugh. I know the music is the most important thing and she's serving there but visually, like nothing is hitting for me. I've liked no MV this era, the tour visuals have been lackluster, no stand out performances outside of the couple Wildflower performances. Girl bring the budget!

But yeah in general I agree that the visuals were a big missed opportunity this era (and arguably with HTE as well). Especially when the album had such a specific and promising art direction at first, the fact that the videos turned out the way they did is just asinine to me. How can you mess up career highs like BOAF and Chihiro by pairing them with such forgettable lackluster visuals... it's simply frustrating

This is very late but I was genuinely upset she didn't win a Grammy for HIT ME HARD AND SOFT which is her best and most cohesive record thus far imo. She deserved to win.

i think if she sings at least a bit from the song it would be doing better. She sang the 2nd part of BLUE in Australia and the song started rising.

I feel they don't bet very much in the US idk why. She always kinda did better globally but still feels like they have no fire to try to change it there. They never bet much on radio or more promotion there.

Also not understanding why wildflower is still not a single. Even without it that album and songs are still smashing, imagine if they actually push them

If HTE has done 3M units in the US, this will easily do double that. We're looking at two albums over 7M in a few years

To be fair, HTE includes like 5 singles prior to its release, including There For I Am which was quite a huge hit. They count the streams prior to the album releases?

Again no adds for wildflower on either pop or Hot AC the past week, I'm starting to really doubt if they're ever gonna push it for real. Doesn't make much sense to me either, unless there is something else Billie has up her sleeve that we don't know about yet

I guess adding songs on radio costs the label money? So they just don't want to invest on radio. They think the song can do good on its own and want maximize the profits, without worring its peak on HOH chart.

Nobody cares about H100 but there's a whole demographic that mainly consumes radio (still) and having radio hits helps cement legacy and overall value of her brand as an artist.

The interviews she did in Australia are starting to come out.

She has 9 Grammys and 2 Oscars. U think she needs those radio audience to enhance her value?  

 

Anyway, most of the demographic are older generation anyway who, in my opinion, ain't her target audience anyway. Plus,. radio in 2025 is full of payola anyway. Lots of songs do nothing on other metrics but are on heavy rotation. Look at Selena's new song. Had it been 2015, a song like that won't get played by radio  . Besides, she also had a #1 and another Top 5 on pop radio this era.
