No, but congrats to Bey but this deserved at least one award. It's okay though. Still a SMASH and ACCLAIMED album. Also, she's won so many times already, it's really fine. If anything, this'll just make her come harder on BE4 and I can't wait for that

I love Billie but she needs to step it up when it comes to TV performances. She slays the ballads/accoustic songs most of the time but she cannot handle full production well. She already has the vocals, but for songs like Wildflower and BOAF, she could use more stage production. If she had even just levitated on wires it would have enhanced the performance a ton.

I'm also not that mad about the snub. You can't win everytime and sometimes loosing is also alright. Yes a grammy for her best album would have been nice but she lost against some amazing competition and every single other act deserved their win too. Just shows us how amazing of a year in music we had. I mean I would have been furious if she lost against a bar song or that ai beatles song but against bey, kendrick or sabrina? nah

I feel like I was one of the few that had zero expectations for the GF fields (I just thought she'd take BPV) so I've been over it. Realistically she can't always sweep

 

 

WILD doing almost 5M is truly insane. Her team/label can move on from BOAF now

Yup, like we still have that doc coming out showing the entire process of how it was created, which is again gonna prove why it absolutely deserved to win aoty

So like... are we getting another single? Why are they not sending Wildflower to radio and releasing a video?

The snub is definitely gonna make this album a cult-classic

I think they were waiting on GRAMMYs before moving on from BOAF. But I'm also still convinced there's a pt 2 coming out around the same time this year so they don't want WF as a new single on the radio 

yeah, it's kinda weird they don't have a new radio single in the US as of now, if things doesn't change in the next weeks i think something must going on. WILDFLOWER coud easily be another TOP 10 smash.

Do we know when the doc about the album is coming out? If there really is a deluxe/part 2 I'm sure we will hear about it around the same time as the documentary.

 

But for some reason I kinda lost hope for the ilomilo theory tbh. It feels like Billie already adores this album and sees it as a fully completed body of work (which it is)

 

But I'm still here for if it happens haha

Wildflower or even Chihiro or the greatest can still have their moment, if they decide to submit next year.

We'll see.  I think it depends if she is releasing anything else this year or not but it's a possibility.

Hope they learn the lesson of not submitting only for the big GF ones and put her in genre categories other than pop.
