I’m screaming that she put this part on a song  Drake co-wrote with her mind you. Drake and Jay have had their funny style moments/tension  before and of Drake and Rih. I love Pettyonce. Theyre gonna be heated indeed

on the topic of Heated referencing actual personal marital issues, I find it unlikely that she is in a way that is supposed to signal that she' still going through it, especially given the general approach to love on this album, and moreso her embodying that persona and alluding to feelings she's had perhaps, but not one's she's meaning to convey.

 

Just like she didn't quit her job, not all lyrics need to relate 100% to what she's experiencing, but can fill out the theme and certain feelings she may have in general.

well i guess you have a point, but it could be argued that if she really cared about the charts, those would have been released sooner, or even sooner in the tracking week. it could just be that she's taking it back to old-school days when singles also had remixes, and instrumental/acapella offerings and less about whether they made it chart or not.

 

as for this video, i don't think it relates to a desire for chart points as much as perhaps the others do. in general i think she's moreso unbothered by charts but willing to do certain things at certain times. an unpredictable queen.

Anyone notice Beyonces intro songs are always the most out of place/different than the rest of the album? I wonder if that’s intentional

 

Im that Girl makes you think it’s a hip hop album. Pretty Hurts makes you think it’s a pop album. Pray you Catch Me makes you think it’s all ballads. Same with 1+1. Crazy in Love makes you think it’s mostly uptempo.

Spill, spill, spill. It's not an unlistenable song, by any means. It's one of my favorites on the record. But that outro absolutely gives the song its identity. Otherwise, it would've been completely drowned out and probably be the weakest on the album.

I think fans need to realize by now that Beyoncé and Jay Z are playing mind games with both fans and media. They probably have been laughing since Lemonade and 4:44. I dont think people are ever going to admit it though. 

 

Beyoncé's attitude this era kinda makes it clear that she is not above playing games with the public. She just doesn't care anymore. Only her family is priority for her.
